Tom didn't even try to answer, and just defended himself like I was accusing him.
Webby, Hector, and Dolores treated me like a drunken idiot. Fine, whatever. In comparison, I felt like IcyTea was trying to encourage me to keep up my attack.

Is it anything, or am I just tilting at windmills again?

IcyTea and Tom: I would especially like your opinions on my case against Hector, given his weird reads on you (and not commenting on them):

In short: Hector has a weak case on me, didn't respond to me calling it weak, and has me as his top scum pick. His second, and only other pick is a lurker who he claims to always read as scummy.
He refused to investigate anyone else, list other potential scum candidates, or expand on his case on me, and, when pressed, said he's done with me.
Despite me being his only real scum pick, he doesn't seem interested in actually trying to get me lynched.

He's purposefully trying to appear scummy. Could be town to convince scum not to nightkill him, could be a double bluff to make it look like that's what he's doing to stay safe as scum.

I would especially like your opinions on my case against Hector, given his weird reads on you (and not commenting on them):

I don't think hector's reads on me are suspicious, given that his whole list of reads is lenient on a lot of people. I'll highlight what I mean.

Nirur - feeling scummy, but that’s mostly because of the poor case on me. This post seems to imply that my level of experience has cleared me in some capacity? Doesn’t want to interact with me anymore, probably worried I noticed how little he did on his own, maybe worried about making a slip with “buddies”.

FoU - scum-lean, but I am aware I always think that about him. Should be doing more, weekend start gives a little leeway in that respect.

Kit and failbird - anxious newer players. Kit has kept something from pre-game going, failbird is worried about coming across as a fool. We all did in our first few games, man.

roseheart - should be in the previous grouping, but posting “hi” after webadict’s “woe for the subforum” thing was infuriating.

Tomasque - town-lean - handful of posts I haven’t read into much, was busy, looks like he’s trying to get more solid reads on people. Pushes Nirur for talking nonsense about Tomasque’s playing experience, has a case on Kit which I can accept as reasonable at this point of the game.

dolores - probably town, with caveats. Making people think about what they’re doing, could probably do it without calling everyone some variety of female genitalia, but eh. Has also dropped a few “slips” and such for people to pick up on, hence the caveat. IcyTea picked up on some. Encouraging activity is a pretty easy thing to be doing, though.

webadict - has spent a great portion of the game lamenting the slow death of the subforum, so... webadict. I guess he’s paying attention?

IcyTea - town lean. Engaging with things, asking people things. Bemused why he thinks my refuge is not as good as webadict’s refuge. Reads list doesn’t quite gel with mine, can’t complain about that I guess.

I was going to do more on the others, but I can't be bothered for various reasons, and I doubt reading through their posts is going to change much.

dolores has been the most active participant and is encouraging others to post, poking and prodding poor play and generally being a nuisance. Mucho town credit-o.

I don't see what they see in Tomasque's play, but Tomasque needs to deal with that himself so I can get a better feel on him because by no means do I think he's town.

webadict promised a post today, looking forward to that because his play has otherwise been curmudgeonly.

I will maintain that I don't want to read Nirur's posts. He's been on me all game, still on me in the skimming I've done. Has at least apparently calmed down? Trying to get people to comment on his case against me, which is based on an OMGUS. Probably not scum, though, but I will admit that gut read is incredibly tainted by how similar he plays to me.

FoU should probably be modkilled for the silence. At least roseheart has posted, man.

Quite frankly, as far as I'm concerned it could be anybody right now. Reading people is in no way my specialty, especially not people who I'm encountering for the first time in a game where some players are explicitly meant to work to deceive the others. The only thing I do know is that given some time I'll know at least one person I definitely can or can't trust.

Frankly the only people I have any inclination to vote for at this very moment are Dolores and Fallacy but 'because they've voted for me' is easily among the weakest reasons I can think of.

Here's my ordering of lynch preferences, starting with the most:

Roseheart: I finally got to question him, and failed to get him to adopt a remotely pro-town strategy. I don't believe he ever will.
FallacyofUrist: Hasn't even tried, cares even less about whether we find scum than Tom does. Might drop down if he posts reads that show insight/understanding and he promises to play more.
Tom: Has twice dodged my questions, the second time very defensively to something was barely an accusation. Is barely here and doesn't care about finding scum. (I expect he is scum/fake-mason.)
IcyTea: I feel like he's scum. I think what bothers me is that he had no real follow-up after his first post. Just getting snippy with Dolores and Hector, and fighting with Webby about him not caring. Looking back, I also feel he was half-heartedly trying to cast shade on Hector and Dolores. If he's actually not playing anymore, he doesn't need the lynch right now.

Webby: Is strangely easy on the lurkers plaguing the game, despite complaining earlier about people who don't actually do anything. Hasn't done much, but doesn't feel as scummy as IcyTea.

Failbird: I'm leaning towards him being an actual newbie in over his head, particularly after the replacement request.
Kit: His confusion earlier felt genuine to me, as did the role claim. I think he's town.
Hector: Twice now I've done my best attacking you and what I thought I had just got me insulted over it being nothing. I'm tired of it. If I see something I'll briefly mention it and let the thread consensus deal with it. No-one has a case for lynching you, and I'm too busy feeling dumb about misreading to feel like you're scum right now.
Dolores: I see nothing on you. You claim to make bad plays and .. I just don't have the skill to see it. Unless someone makes an amazing case against you, I'm going to have to agree with Webby: You're nearly unlynchable.
