Well, frankly, how am I supposed to know what webadict was thinking when he made the roles?  Unfortunately, I don't have access to everyone's roles, so I can't see how they all fit together.  Hell, even I was scratching my head a bit when I first saw mine, as I didn't really see how the one-shot fit in with the overall theme.  My guess (which I'm assuming you want, because you're commenting) is that it was tacked on to either balance some other ability or abilities, or just so I'd have *something* that could be affected by ability-altering powers.  Which you did.  Jerkbag.

Well, please consider this with the assumption that I am a townie for a moment. If I am I KNOW that I am 100% town, okay? Now, anyone else can be scum since we have no "confirmed" town. Therefore the odds of lynching scum are better if I lynch someone at random than if I allow myself to be lynched. Therefore as a townie I decide to lynch at random because there is no point letting a confirmed (to me) townie die when I could take a shot at offing a scum.

Those odds are anywhere from 66-75% for hitting town. Those be bad odds.

It was Shakerag who has done absolutely nothing of use and has instead distracted others and prevented them from getting anything done. Therefore even if he is town he might as well be scum because he is not finding scum, and is simply a bystander, and as every platitude on bullying has taught us, bystanders are always part of the problem and never part of the solution.

And why do you think you were being lynched yesterday? Is it because you were being scummy and thus, distracting others?

Also, do inform me as to how Shakerag was preventing people from getting anything done? We managed to decide on a lynch target, before you fucked all that up.

I could take that as a cunning play by a scum, but WINE makes my head hurt, so I'll say it is productive but kind of lazy on his part because instead of presenting his own reads he just pushes others for their own. There is nothign wrong with that but it should be accompanied by his own thoughts as well.

No. The point is that you are lurking and (purposely?) not paying attention/avoiding questions.

Hm. Forgot about that. But it's not the only voting weirdness I'm seeing, so I'd like to know if wuba can confirm the last D1 count as accurate.

I occasionally make errors, so I have no clue, and I'm too lazy to check. If the previous vote count was correct, then it's pretty likely correct.

I guess I'll make it explicit then, in the interest of trying to understand what's going on. Please webadict confirm if any of these are merely errors, or if we can use them as clues:

1. All votes on Zrk2/Shakerag are missing  (except Vector's), and placed elsewhere:
- Flandre's vote on Zrk2 is missing.[1], but shows up on Powder Miner.
- Think's vote on Zrk2 is missing.[2], but shows up on OrangeBottle.
- OrangeBottle's vote on Zrk2 missing[3], and shows as not voting.
- Powder Miner's vote on Shakerag is also missing[4], and shows him as not voting.

2. Toaster's vote on Powder Miner is missing.[5], shows him voting Flandre.


I seem to read this as somehow reverting people to the previous person they voted, or the next person in some sort of circle, or some other weirdness as part of the Zrk2/Shakerag thing, but I find Toaster's misplaced vote added to the mix as stranger than that.

Simple Version: you cannot possibly be town because of your actions.
Another Simple Version: It could be used to save your life for a night, force a mislynch on a powerful town player, break LYLO, and waste a lynch. This oneshot is something that town would never find a use for.

I'd have considered that if I knew why town would need it to lynch someone when they can just do it with votes. It would make no sense for a town PR to have this oneshot, because a townie would never find a use for it. Scum and third parties have many uses for it, so I believe you are one of the two, especially since you used it to continue your own survival.

You suggested a massclaim, but that was obviously dismissed.

My opinion of RVS is that on the surface it's useless, but anything that kicks up a little agitated activity to start the game is good.  Largely useless against experts, but very helpful for weeding out newbs/getting them up to speed.

So, are you going to actually try to scumhunt at any point in the near future, or are you going to just sit around asking pointless questions?

For now, I'm willing to give Flandre the benefit of the doubt and assume that she's pulling a Solifuge-gambit, because as mildly winey as some of her comments are, she's mostly calm and seems all right.  How she plays through D2 will be the real test.

Well, I didn't sleep enough, I had a cavity filled this morning, my abusive grandmother just left our house after her visit (read: lots of screaming and crying over the past few days, so yeah, I'm worn out), I've been working for hours today on a problem set that I am not going to be able to finish... oh, and right now I'm posting from the computer lab, having inhaled my dinner and just now finished my labwork (I spent pretty much this entire weekend bug-hunting).  Now I probably have to go do more math.

Unless I'm missing something, it makes sense to me. You claim that you can't gain votes and Zrk2's ability appeared to simply be an infinity of votes (also, there were other votes on you D1), so yeah. Why do you think that is?
