Shortening is a bad idea until everyone votes. Extend. The threat of TDS is the only thing keeping filipk alive, so why is lynching me the better prospect?

I really want that answer from Meph about action order.  Hopefully he'll answer.

Best idea, if TDS lives: one of us pours Post 36 (Deus's quoteless TDS-marked post) and the other pours post 292 (Deus's purified post from last night).  If the order of actions places arson after pouring/the like, we've got Deus alive in the case of theoretical arson.

Let's say BHK does 36 and I do 292.

I guess but right now Persus has a really good claim which I believe is his actual role, even if he lied about the alignment.  He's proven his role again and again while my claim hasn't been tested.  I had trouble connecting to the forums for the second half of day 2, probably due to bad internet at the time, which makes me look even more scummy.  al I can say is that his power seems extremely strong combined with other people's powers and this isn't a bastard game. 

Persus I can't seem to find your role flavor can you share it again please.

Oh and what makes me think TDS is not an arso is that he didn't mark BHK and in doing so make the town lynch one of the non-marked targets for him.

Origami - Did you claim Iron Will so early due to your corruption resistance making you an effective miller?

There aren't any investigation roles (that I know of) so I don't see how I could possibly be a miller. Please elaborate.

My promised post, mainly responding to fillipk's accusations against me. For all the posts today, there's a surprisingly lack of content. It looks the suspicious characters are down to me, TDS, and OSG, and fillipk. Fillipk is someone who I find slightly shifty, but I think OSG is more likely to be the last scum, (weird claim D2, easy to fake, etc.). TDS we can save for later, since we know he's a third party. Unless NQT has a better proposal, lynching him seems like the best case scenario.

No, my role's not that specific. I can tell who changed my posts, but not which post got changed by whom. This might affect whatever plans you have involving me, because if I know who you and BHK (or TDS) will target, I could fake knowing it.

If I was scum, why would I bus flabort? He only had two votes on him and several other people had one. And considering no one has been scum killed in the night yet it would have been very poor play for scum me to make. So what incentive would I have had to bus flabort? Why was my reason for voting flabort not good? Finally, I don't get your version of what happened between me and BHK D2. It sounds like your distorting it to make me look scummy. Why was switching my vote to Flabort scummy? Where did BHK satisfactorily explain his reason for voting O. Wilde?

What DA is trying to point out is that his role only purifies himself, so he can't purify your posts even if he wanted to. So why did you feel the need to claim your role on Day 2 when it wasn't necessary for you to do so at all?

Also Flabort, have you done anything productive today at all.

Persus didn't vote Flavort till after the first extension when there was already a 2 person bandwagon on Flabort and he was the only one voting BHK.  Combined with those facts this reason for voting, which he does explain, though not very well, basically saying Flabort and me haven't been very active then pressures Flabort, even though he questions me in the post.(not quoted).

I asked you a question 19 hours after this post. Which you never answered. So why does that matter at all to your case against me? Why is it proof that I'm scum? Why does it matter that I voted after an extension?

Also Flabort, have you done anything productive today at all.

Sorry for the confusion, there's supposed to be a question mark at the end of that sentence, which I just realized didn't make it. I'm voting flabort to ensure he saw my question. In regards to productivity, fillipk's posted 3 times; you've posted 4 times. Flabort's posted twice. Granted fillipk's only posts are shorter and have done nothing except attack flabort, but compared to his day 1, two posts is pretty abysmal. Thanks for the vote, it made me take the time out of studying for finals to use the lurker tracker to check out some posts and come up with a question for fillipk.

All of this makes his vote seem like a distancing vote when it looked like the lynch was going to go towards Flabort.

Why does this post make my vote look like a distancing vote? You attack me for not questioning flabort and not having a good reason for my vote. Then you draw the conclusion that this post, which A. Clarifies that I had intended my vote to be attached to a questioned but mistyped and B. doubles down with evidence why flabort suddenly stopped being productive somehow is the smoking gun showing I'm distancing.

Sure, Persus why didn't you bring that up the day before instead of voting for inactivity, because right now it looks like a fake claim/ Mafia rolecop thing.

Why would I bring up my role D2? Just because all the cool kids were claiming doesn't mean I had to join them. My role is also only useful if scum target me and I notice my posts got corrupted. Scum won't corrupt my posts if they know my role because I'll spot them. Therefore, the best course of action was keeping my role secret while getting flabort lynched. Which worked. Why would I fake claim an inspective role as Mafia and not something else like a disciple of the iron will? An inspect role is much easier to verify. Finally, why would being a Mafia role cop matter?

If you guys would like we can wait till the next day to figure out which one of us is scum, testing my role interaction during the night and lynch the third party today.

What's your role again? And for the record, I think Notquitethere is far more likely to be scum than you.

Jack: I would argue that the main security threats to the Canadian Arctic are threefold:

The first is rapidly becoming a widely discussed topic in most corners of the world; that of environmental pollution. The Canadian Arctic has suffered under the burden of marine and air pollution, most of it stemming from Cold War activities. Part of this is due to the influence of military activity and the pollution that became directly responsible for (particularly in the post Cold War years, where a large number of military sites were deemed surplus and abandoned, allowing chemical waste to seep into the environment as they deteriorated) but also the secondary effects, such as military patrols causing animal migration patterns to be affected and therefore having unforeseen effects on the natural routes those animals would take. Then, of course, there comes the product of that waste: climate change. This is resulting in the thawing of permafrost in the Arctic, as well as transforming areas that are normally frozen over into open sea. In addition to the effects that this has on Canadian wildlife, it contributes to the other two points I plan to raise.

The second threat to the Canadian Arctic is due to the increased accessibility that its thawing ice offers. With the Arctic becoming increasingly easy to navigate as the climate changes, it opens a new range of possibilities for a whole range of risks not just to the Arctic, but to Canada as a whole. Perhaps the least threatening of these is that drug smugglers could attempt to use the Arctic as a new way to access the country, but in a world where terrorism is on everyone's mind, it must be considered that those organisations would also attempt to find new paths not only into Canada, but past its southern border rather than attempting direct access to the USA. There is also the risk that members of organised crime rings would attempt to exploit the Arctic for any natural resources that are being freed from the permafrost before the government is able to secure it.

The final security risk faced by the Canadian Arctic is the attempts by other countries to impose upon Canada's sovereign lands and waters, primarily the Northwest Passage (considered internal by Canada rather than international as claimed by other countries), the claim on Hans Island (disputed by Denmark) and the dispute with the USA over the maritime border in the Beaufort Sea. All of these examples pose a risk to Canada's sovereignty and authority, while the last two also pose a monetary risk with the potential loss of natural resources.

So, how should Canada go about combating these threats to the Arctic? The revitalization of the Canadian Rangers in 2006 certainly serves as a good starting point as far as preventing military threats in the Arctic is concerned, as well as making it mandatory for ships sailing into the Arctic to register with NODREG from 2008. Canada has also certainly shown that it is willing to exercise its sovereignty in the area with the arrangement in 2006 to extend the NORAD agreement with the US indefinitely. While negotiations with Denmark regarding Hans Island are ongoing, Canada has certainly shown that it is not going to easily let go of its Arctic territory, with the most likely solutions as of 2012 being either condominium or splitting the disputed island in half (which would also result in a second Canada-Denmark land border). Climate change, unfortunately, is an issue that the world as a whole must work together to combat.

I choose RVS because we are in it and I don't like it.

It gets people talking, but nothing from RVS can be used as solid evidence against them because of the nature of RVS. That is why I don't like it. What comes after it is good though.

As for my FoSes, I'll leave that question for a bit later.  Just know that I considered up to 7 FoSes in that opening post.

If this is about my not using your format for voting and FoSing, my method is a coherent and non-rejected interpretation of 'on their own line'.

The only one that doesn't have a quote referencing that first post it this one:

Has some TDS altered stuff from me, Persus and Jack, also a tainted post from OSG and a post from Meph just because. End result should be that me and Persus shouldn't have any TDS'd posts, so there's no real difference between lynching him and fillipk, from that point of view at least.
