"Let my Blacksmith come to aid you in your glorious task. I also like your quarantine ideas, nonetheless it seems vital to me to find out what is dangerous to us and what is not ASAP.
So plan should look like this:
1. Build Wall
2. Build housing  and farmland
3. Build quarantine/hospital area.
4...

Oh do we have any alchemists here? I think the alchemist should eventually team up with me to start developing cures for the dangers of the land."

The transportation is extremely inaccurate, and nobody has spent enough time there to make maps.

They then sit down with audible relief, apparently having forgotten one unit of purchasing tokens on the ground where anyone could claim it...
A messenger eyes the ignored point carefully.

I take the point, handing it to him.

"Gold is life right now, hold on to it better."

"As thanks, you could buy a book of archway based portal crafting, as we are clearly lacking."

Looking up with a start and ruffling "I- Thanks to you." *looks away for a moment* "Yes..."

Jakthur requests a tome on the construction and maintenance of stable magical teleportation Portals. and provides one unit towards such.

Presumably there is 'something' for for that price...

((I'll aim to have the real update a few hours from now.
Your supplies include basic bedding. You didn't buy tents for the general populace, but they're cheap enough that you may choose to have your own.))

The messenger returns much later, carrying a thick book titled A Telekineticist's Guide to Stable Portals. It's dry and difficult to read, but the messenger says it was the only suitable book in the price range.

Night arrives. The guards usher the wizards into a large storage room. Many of their supplies are already stacked about near the walls in unmarked crates, with workmen frequently carrying more in through-out the night. Portal stones and an intricate summoning circle are in the middle. Many guards stand at attention along the walls or near the middle, watching the group warily. One speaks up:

"You will meet with your colonists tomorrow. For now, try to get some sleep .. There is nowhere else for you to stay."

Dinner does not appear to be forthcoming.

{4} - There aren't any. They probably haven't settled down from all the crate moving.

The wizards, including the bird, find a food crate for dinner, and get sleep where they can. Eventually, dawn returns.

Three obviously-exhausted men in blue robes emblazoned with the Portal Guild's crest enter the room walk to the portal site. They barely give the site a once-over before taking places around the circle and begin chanting. Over half an hour, a portal forms: First a faint vertical line, it slowly expands into a green sphere.

"That's done." The leader mumbles before they shuffle out.

More guards arrive, leading the group of colonists. They organize bucket-lines and have crates carelessly yet efficiently thrown through. The room is soon emptied of supplies, and the colonists and wizards are marched through.

They step through the portal, bracing for the worst. They find green. Vast fields of green expand in every direction, broken by occasional trees. The ground seems solid, and is very lightly pliable. A faint shimmer in the air behind them marks the portal's exit. The crates extend in a line, as the portal is moving slightly along the ground.

Silian Salve notes that the ground is alive. A quick scan indicates that they're standing on giant leaves. They overlap each other completely, and appear to be stable enough to hold a village.

No fauna is immediately apparent.

Two suns blaze overhead. No clouds are visible. The air is dry and very hot.

Literally Unlimited Minions lives up to his name, and Summons as many Normal Slimes as he can.  Next, they will be directed to Scout the area in all directions, and return at the first sign of danger, or when a full day has passed. The period of time until one returns will gauge the safety of the Surrounding areas.

"I shall do as I always have done, Summon forth more minions than any other."

Jakthur pecks inquisitively at the leaf, assumes what would become known as a frown, and approaches one of the unnamed leaders. Addressing the leader "This place, it seems not good, move the supplies to..." Jakthur looks around, "umm, make the supplies ready to move..." "Gather the supplies together... near to the supplies near to the centre of this leaf. That is good, is it?" before adopting a blank expression, then darting off.

Arriving at the space-mage Jakthur utters "You are skilled, other places, look at them can you?". Jakthur attempts to collaborate with the unnamed space-mage to get a view of their current position from a distance great enough to appreciate the shape of whatever the leaf belongs to.

"... I'm going to roast in my robes."

Minor Action: Walter has some of his minions rig him up a tent, if at all possible.
Major Action: Walter makes it quite clear that he's the king of this settlement, via a political speech, backed up by Mordecai.

((POLITICS!))
