Summon Rock Slimes until a huge water supply and shade can be made from now on. slower, weaker, dumber and hardier, the lack of water should not be as much of an issue for these rock covered goo-guys.

Have these ones construct a canopy over as much of the base as possible, Harvesting leaves from the furthest visible point from us and supporting them on pillars of wood with long legs near the bottom, so the leaf we are on is not compromised.

Any time left over is spent micromanaging them to help with Other Labor.

"Water... water... aha! Mordecai, we've got leading to do!"

Major Action: Walter and Mordecai have the workers build a large solar still built.
It is Mordecai's professional opinion as an alchemist that that won't work when the air has no humidity and the floor is made of waterproof leaves.

Jakthur commissions a second shade-shelter and thinks back to whether there was any obvious signs of these leaves falling.
Then once again collaborates with the space-mage, this time attempting to establish a stable traversable two-way passage directly to the ground.

Another of the leaders is encouraged to build a plain simple, open, breezy, but very sturdy house for the the space mage and Jakthur to work on their portal within. Jakthur, for one, is willing to answer the odd question, but is rather more interested in the new project than describing the terrain.

If anyone is going to bother making a map, or feel possessive over the scrying pool, it is likely the Space-mage. Of course, the space mage was sent here with us, and spending your career adding a "non" to Euclidean geometry is probably not an endorsement of mental stability, so don't be surprised if the equipment that they came free with included a healthy supply of articles that do interesting things when burned... Or not, I really wouldn't know...

((Nope. They create a solid flooring, and several overlap at any spot you've looked at. You haven't noticed any signs of wear-and-tear around the village, or signs of change.))

Minor actions:
1
Start shooting lighter into the air in a attempt to make it rain
2 begin charging candy with lightening so it tastes delicious
3 look for a masochist favoured soul who is definitely in love with a Gorgon.

{7} - The bolt of magical lightning flies straight up, creating a loud and distracting boom. Miro tries making a song with follow-up shots, but stops when someone throws a brick at him. The cloudless sky doesn't seem to be any more likely to break out in rain.
{6} - The charged candy melts and lightly shocks the first person who touches it.
{5} - She does not seem to be in view at the moment, and Miro is too tired from his failed musical experiment to go searching right now.

They don't really have any useful skills beyond the ability to perform manual labor. If they did, they wouldn't have been sent here at such bargain prices.))
