The speed on the car is fine, but if the armor is bad then the idea won't work. Make sure the armor on the Struunk I is well fitted and shaped. Try to get the engine and electric turret working properly. For the former, look to existing petrol-internal combustion engine designs for inspiration.

Think we could fit that engine in a plane?
It'd be nice if we could make a turboprop engine instead of using a piston engine, but sure it'd probably do for a small plane.

Fiiiiiine.

Stretching the definition of a revision phase, your engineers scramble to make something useful out of their failed engine designs and bring a Moskurg-manufactured armored car off the assembly line.

Struunk I: Your engineers have managed to build a motor on par with the ones used in the (rather outdated) civilian vehicles you've been confiscating. As before, it gets up to 30 MPH on roads and 15 cross country. It has 8mm armor all around, slightly angled, with 15mm armor on the front of the engine and cabin. The 8mm armor is still dubious protection against normal rifle rounds. It includes a Brumby in the passenger seat and an M2 Stallion in the turret. The turret has a DC electric motor running off of the car's double capacity battery, and a backup hand crank (the turret will drain the battery if rotated constantly).

Davidson-Cadillac armored car this ain't, but it's domestically made. You've gained the Petrol Engine technology (though there's room for improvement in that area and probably will be for fifty years).

Alright, time to start getting out shit together in the production phase.

Phase out the horsekiller weapons (AKA the rifle and carbine) from regular service in favour of the M1 rifle, leaving only the HK rifle in specialist hands. Phase out using the 5-shooter as a sidearm using the sawn-off as the only one. Start deploying the Struunk I as part of the cavalry divisions, acting as a spearhead for our brave riders and as a rather heavy elastic defense unit that can quickly push into enemy territory. Also start including scimitars in the kit for all the cavalry, enabling them to charge Arstotzkan artillery and infantry not near MGs.

Also start seeking an alliance with the UK, possibly even a member of the commonwealth given our previous status as a colony.

My thoughts on a flag is crossed scimitars, on a Blue and silver plane, the silver looking like a nordic style flag, but with a circle in the center around the scimitars, and a fire burning between the blades as well
