[4] Margrave Draignean splits up his troops for massive advantage in the battle to come. He forms up his troops around their camp and prepares to launch a pincer movement just at the changing of the guards. [5] The two halves of the pincer remain coordinated and intact as they march into battle from two sides.

Margrave Draignean's Positioning Roll: [2+2=4] Good Lines, no bonuses or penalties.
Mountain Men Positioning: [5-2=3] Split Army! Forces separated from each other for the duration of the first battle! Cannot regroup, surprise attack!
Draignean's pincer movement cannot be used to attack both enemy armies at a time, so he will need to choose a target for it. The first Mountain Men group contains approximately 1000 Mountain Men Warriors and the second 2000 Tribesmen.

TaricusTaricusHead north to exterminate these worthless mountain men holding Lord Darvi captive (If we win, we also kill Lord Darvi, making it look like the mountain men killed him.)
[3] The Duke's army makes good progress across the plains and reaches the Mountain Men camp quickly. A force of such size isn't easy to hide, though, and the savages are prepared.
The enemy has about 2800 men, left over from Lord Darvi's attack. They seem to be in high spirits, overconfident from their earlier victory or not just realizing just how many knights and light horsemen Taricus has brought with him.
The Duke can Disrupt Enemy Formation, but victory is guaranteed in any case.
