Who me ? I don't have the shotgun yet ( I didn't know there is one ), I ran out of ammo, and freaked out rushing the around 30 Head Crab zombies with crowbars

Bone Head killed me. The quest is labeled as HARD, but I thought nothing of it. I know the layout of the area and I figured I could snipe him from a distance. Turns out, I could. Also turns out that my guns could barely hurt him. Again, it turns out that his gun destroys my shields with around three hits.

Borderlands.

Bone Head is the hardest boss in the game.  He's seriously OP for his level, and you haven't had time to get ridiculously powerful sniper rifles or 4x storm SMGs yet.

AFK in Ramkahen, and Deathwing flies by and nukes the site from orbit strafes the city with fire.

Sadly, this was my alt, when I've been trying to find the stupid dragon on my main since the expansion started.

Playing a character who relies on bound weapons because I stupidly forgot to take a weapon skill (I dropped my other weapons to save weight), I wandered into a tomb for a quest and was promptly killed by a skeleton using arrows of dispel, dispelling my bound mace before I could even get a hit in.

He wasn't that bad in my first playthrough. I may or may not have been a few levels higher and I beat him on my first try by spamming the Scorpio as a soldier. Shortly after posting, I did the same thing with Bloodwing and my new shotty, TK's Wave.

I just "acquired" alpha centauri, and it looks pretty complicated.  I'll dig into it when I feel like learning a new game.
