EDIT: Turn up tomorrow once flavour and final touches are done.

4207: March 17th:

The USEC container ships had come in, and have bought everyone's ores and gases in the Austin-Ega.

Ore reached a high of $66, and was eventually sold to the USEC at $44

Gas reached a high of $41, and was eventually sold to the USEC at $28 a unit.

Due to pressures from Energetic Networks, the lowered transport fees for Girders and MODs has been removed. Girders and MODs will be worth more next turn, when new ships arrive. In other, unrelated news, the first EN-42L has been sold to Prospecting Industries Unlimited. USECNN will have more on this story, as it comes in.

Spoiler: PSI (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Westar (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Lazorz inc. (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Aeon Security Services (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Shadowrun (click to show/hide)

Yes! There will be new ships for you to buy. I'll add more ships tomorrow as well. (The ones I have are a bit to advanced for now.)

Flavour will come in next turn, when the CITs arrive.

/signal found...

Host: Tonight! on USEC Business Talk! The First round of profits have come in from U-12342, and we're gonna show you who broke the bank, who broke even, and who broke their chops. Listen up!

(an image of the Westar warthog shows up on the screen, before it squees and runs off in a cartoonish cloud of smoke)

Host: Number 1 on the list, with a profit of $280,000, was Westar! Amazing stuff we saw here-It seems their decision to stick with a single tricked out mod-02 paid off-Westar has the honor, for now, of being the company quickest to recoup their beginning costs.

(The next Images show a snake, a psi symbol and a smiley face chasing each other in circles)

Host: Tied for 2, are Shadowrun, Aeon, and Lazorz, each coming in with a respect able $220,000 each. Good works guys! Keep that ore coming!

(The PSI logo comes up, with teardrops and crying sounds coming from it)

Host: The lone one out is PSI! Who came in last, with only $140,000 profit! Better luck next time Bill and Ted!

(The final image shows a popular politician wearing the type of military uniform worn by cliched villains in old Interstellar Civil war flicks. It is an obvious fake..)

Host:Stay tuned, cause next we're gonna show you who's *Really* running USEC into the ground! Here's a hint, it's not the loyalist party...

(the host smirks as the screen fades out)

Connection lost...

OOC: This is assuming my math is right (LOL) and no typos on mine or USECs part...yeah!
Hmm, USEC my Galens flush is listed at $300,000 cost. It was only $240,000 when I made it :(

Umm...Where's the Clever Dream?

Also, I was going to hold off on selling my ore until next time. (I've got the biggest hold of everyone currently, might as well put it to use.)

Blame Energetic Networks that Galen's flush is worth more now than when you bought it.

EDIT: Added new ships, arms and equipment. Check it out. The Clever dream is in the astroid field to the left of the Samson. It kinda blends in with it. Also, you might have to turn the brightness up to see the co-ordinates of the hexes, but it was a much faster, easier way than what my idea was. Any questions?

AMNB will return to Austin Ega and buy a vacuum (40k, 105k left), then return to extracting gas.

Ship purchase:
Name of ship: Myrmica Rubra
Captain's name: Damien Gorts
Type of ship: EN-42(ant)
Armour: 6
Equipment:
Level 5 engine
Tiny Canister
Cost; 105.000

Myrmica's orders are the same as Lasius's. Lasius will fill up first, then Myrmica will fill while Lasius is dropping off it's resources. If myrmica is filling up lasius will not fill up until myrmica is full.

EDIT: Oh look, new stuff was added! *changes orders*

Ship Purchase
Name of ship: Chapel of Hope
History: The Chapel of Hope was found derelicit by Rebecca White on a salvage run somewhere in the outer colonies. It was, in fact, a space going church of an old Earth religion-the lack of escape pods she found suggests they apparently all ejected themselves into the void. She took the ship for herself and kept the name, as a sort of monument...to what exactly, is up to you.
Captain's name: Rebecca White
Type of ship: Girder ($150,000)
Level 6 engine ($65,000)
Equipment: 6/6
1xLight Vacuum ($15,000)
1xVacuum ($40,000)
1xSmall Canister ($40,000)
Total Cost $310,000

Equipment orders for Galen's Flush
Removals-
Selling Speed 5 engine at 12 Armor +$60,000
Selling Light Vaccum +$15,000
Selling Tiny Canister +$15,000
Additions-
Purchasing and installing Speed 6 engine at 12 Armor -$78,000
Purchasing and installing Machine Gun Turret -$10,000
Purchasing and installing Machine Gun Turret -$10,000
Total Cost $8,000

Total Expenditure $318,000

Orders: All ships continue to mine at closest gas cloud, returning when full or before container ships arrive. The Chapel of Hope does not step out of the station's safety zone with out cover from the Galen's Flush.

OOC: USEC, can we get clear rules on selling ships and equipment? Or is this about right? Just to clear the waters...

Oh yeah, forgot orders for this round. Clever Dream begins scouting gas clouds and asteroid fields further away from station and recording the findings. Samson continues mining in nearest asteroid field to station. Both return to station when the new ships arrive.

Shameless bump to remind players to submit turns so USEC can start the next turn. :3

Automation:
The Jolly Dwarf and the indu-def drone 1 will fly around scanning various mining areas. if it finds ore it mines it . If there is no ore left it continues scanning. if its tanks are full it will return to base
