Casting Acid Splash, taking the -4 to not hit a buddy, for a total ranged touch of +0.  If the Barb goes ahead and kick the bugbear down the pit i will instead pull out my dagger and stab the bugbear.

Ulfgar hangs back and twiddles his thumbs, exchanging his scimitar and crossbow yet again. I seem to be exceedingly useless.

Sure, I could possibly climb up and combat the bastard, but I have ~50% chance of falling on Urten.

You could try to bust down the door, if you like.

Edit: Or dig a hole in the wall.

That would interfere with the kobold, though, wouldn't it?

If not, I refrain from switching weapons and move to break open the door with my scimitar.

The -4 is automatic, you can only hit allies if they are grappling.

You have a 0% chance to fall because if you fail bad enough to fall you fail bad enough to not even start climbing. Also climb is a skill you trained and you got a light load. You only need a 7 or more to get up.

Everpick helps Ulfgar to bust down the door. They both attack it. Ulfgar does a single point of damage, while Ignacius does nothing.

Urten takes his shot, but misses, imbedding his bolt into the wall behind the combatants. Meanwhile, the bugbear completely misses Rukkaz. Rukkaz kicks the bugbear down the hole in a very awesome way. Grungo misses his attack of oportunity, and provokes one from both Urten and Haurach. Urten shoots and hits for 7 damage while Haurach Iskepeck Acid Splashs now blind, prone, stunned, disarmed and, now dead, bugbear for 3 damage.

You have won the fight!

The game will proceed as normal from this point. So just post what you want to do within about 10 minute increments.

Check the bugbear for anything I can use, and take it. Then try to figure out where the tunnel carries on from where we left off.

If Everpick doesn't pick the lock, Ulfgar continues hacking at the door.

Heh, I just realized that I had a -8 for that first shot, should have used the spell >_>

Also stop attacking the door and just try to rip it of its hinges.

Does acid bypass hardness?

Also how well made does the door look?

Good question, I have plenty of acid, in both spell and flask.

Fair enough.

Rather than attacking the door, Ulfgar will examine it in an effort to determine which course of action would be best.

Urten bends down to check if this bugbear is the one he was sent to find...

...

He realizes that he does not know what the bugbear looks like!
"Damn useless hobgoblin guards" He mutters to himself.
"If I was in charge around here we would be a damn sight better organized."

He sighs and turns to his comrades.

"Any of you lot got something to cut this things head off with? The bounty was on the 'head' of this criminal anyway."

Attacking is okay, but meta says that just trying to rip it down is a lot easier.

Ooh, aren't I schizo today? You guys are probably better suited for the door issue than I, in any case. From now on out, I will thoroughly think through my action before posting and won't change them unless something serious happens. Also, I claim brown in the name of Ulfgar.

"Aye, I've got a blade. I'll gladly chop off the foul beast's head if it will keep you from raising it from eternal slumber."

To himself, quietly in Terran: "Forgive me, but we need this more than you do at the moment."

Spoiler: hacking off the head (click to show/hide)

If you have brown, then I get... Orange

"I'll find where the tunnel goes. Stay put til I get back."
