I do call scrolls by the way, that is if they are good scrolls anyway.

Ulfgar drags the sack of vegetables to the living quarters. "If nothin' happens to the fool kobold, these may be of use to us later." He grabs an armful of literature, places it on the table, and places anything that looks important into his pack. Noticing that Urten seems to want the single papers, he keeps them in a separate pile for the mage to sift through. "Damn goblins and their chicken scratch. Always stealin' from good, hard-workin' dwarves - even stealin' me letters and corruptin' 'em for their vile uses." If there's one thing Ulfgar dislikes more than undead, it's the evil goblins. That may be why he is so cooperative right now.

The goblin language uses the dwarven alphabet, if you didn't know. Any chance I could decipher any of the literature in the room?

Although Ulfgar and Urten both are able to read the dwarven alphabet, they can do no more than pronouce the words. Without vocabulary, it is meaningless. Haurach eyeballs the book carefully, while gnawing on a "vegetable". It tastes more like wood than anything else. Still, he's not dead or anything. The book is quite ornate, covered in gems and gold leaf. It seems to have a lock on it as well.

You do not have enough acid to eat through the locks on the chest; you go through the last of the vials and run out.

I'll pocket the book for later, maybe I can find a locksmith or something.  How much does it weigh?  I'll also apply an acid vial to one of the chest locks.  Eat another vegetable.

Prop up the bugbear so his head's hanging off something. Chop it off and start peeling away the skin, flesh, etc.

This being Homestuck, I'm not sure whether that's post-scratch Rose or Vriska with a wig.

In that case, Peel the fleshy parts off the head, and put it on my shoulder so it is in full view.

I would recomend waiting untill you actually get the reward before doing that. But I am fine with you doing it now, if you really want to.
