"I'll see if i can get this door down..."

[I pour an acid flask onto the door, a second if necessary.]

Rukkaz notes that the bugbear was holding a shield and a morningstar. Then he jumps down to help loot the body.

Ulfgar takes another unsuccessful hack at the door before going over to chop off the bugbear's head. After a few whacks, he manges to remove it and carry it off to the mounts.

Haurach uses 2 vials of acid to dissolve the lock before realizing that, while it is eating through the lock, it has eaten through the door quicker. The lock simply falls to the ground, leaving a hole in the door.

Rukkaz wanders down the hall and finds another staircase, leading back up to the top of the hole. There is a blue curtain over the tunnel past the hole.

"Alright, lets get a move on, this sneaky fellow can take the lead to look for traps. Just like a bug bear to try to kill from the grave."

I will follow and try to stay in the middle of the group.

Ulfgar will

I was hoping the sneaky people could do this but...

I look behind the curtain.

Urten pokes his head through the curtain only to find... another pair of curtains. One leads to a chamber with a balista on wheels and a pile of spears. There is also a rather large sack. This must be where the bugbear was shooting at your from when you first entered the cave.

The other curtain leads to a room in which Grungo apparently used to live. Inside is a bedroll, a small table with a (lit) candle and an unidentifed root vegetable, two chairs, one large and one small, two shelves and two chests. One shelf holds assorted bowls, cups and other mundane goods. The other shelf, however, contains a number of books and papers, all written in Goblin.

I will cast detect magic, than I will spend one round looking in each room, if I detect magic I will spend two rounds to find it. When I am done with the rooms (8-4 rounds left in the spell) I will go back the way we came looking for hidden magic.

I shall casually look around for any weapons large enough to be an improvement upon my own, and strap them to my back as needed. Corpses are acceptable.

The corpses are not for weapons. They are for FEAR.

Urten finds no magic in the balista room, nor in the room with the corpse. He does detect faint transmutation magic in the two chests and moderate abjuration magic from one of the books on the shelf.

Rukkaz grabs three of the ballista bolts (treat them as longspears) and makes a note to look into keeping the head of the bugbear as a trophy.

Ulfgar pokes the sack in the ballista room lightly with his scimitar. If a foul beast doesn't spring from within, he opens it and looks inside.

It's full of the same ugly looking vegetables as on the table.

Urten will carefully check out the chests, also I will call to Ulgar "Hey can you go grab that book for me?"
