Once Pandar claimed Backup voter, I decided to see how he reacted to Zai's gambit. A scum BV would have been against it.

Unvote Zai. This is such huge WIFOM.

As soon as Zai gives his plan, Pandar backs off for reasons of "WIFOM". Despite the fact that somebody spewing WIFOM is acting scummy. And then he contradicts himself in the next post:

1) Scum with that role not willing to risk giving his teammates away who has decided to make a spectacle of things so big it'll distract severely from anyone who isn't him
2) Scum without that role trying to draw out the player who has it, since (like he said) claiming that role severely weakens it.

Guys, I was just vanilla'd and I'm telling you because this is too absurd not to explain.

Day 1, I was backup voter. Web told me I replaced the Shielded Voter. As a town player, I rather like being able to vote so I pointed out to Web that the Shielded Voter wouldn't be backup-replaceable. He agreed, I returned to being backup. Next day, I got Lynch Delayer, got flipped to the Lovestruck Voter, and then got Vanilla'd.

This is also important because there is no more Lovestruck Voter.

Could you please explain the part that I bolded?  From what I can see, you are claiming to be the Backup Voter -> Lynch Delayer, but the Lovestruck Voter part is a bit unusual.

Although I do agree with you that there is essentially no more Lovestruck Voter.  Unless I misread something horribly, Mr.Person is the Lovestruck Voter with Apostolic Nihilist as the buddy.  (Day 1, Mr.Person's vote moved to no vote.  Day 2 his vote moved to Leafsnail.)  Anyways, now that Apostolic Nihilist has been lynched, Mr.Person's vote is free.

If we cannot find someone scummy enough to lynch, a no lynch would give us one extra day of discussion and allow us to read into the person that the mafia chooses to kill.
