". . . Anyway, er, who's the new arrival?" Geraint asks, indicating Elaine with a jerk of his head. "I didn't see you in the crowd."

"You kill a weed at the roots, Frostwind. Remember that." Another cough.

"I saw what you did to one of those knights, though. Impressive. Good work."

"A sorceress isn't a weed. They're more of a plague. Don't get too close until you know how to eradicate it, as to not kill yourself."
Freyja straightens her facial features, obviously not amused.
"I've seen scarier threats than those by the Wastes."

[SOLDIER First]

He shrugs. "I ended up fine. I suppose I'll be more careful next time, though."

Elaine tries to avoid Geraint's gaze.
"....a witness. They....asked me to stay here.....to give testimony."

"Also don't just carelessly throw out my House name in public, you twig. You know what happened to my House."
Freyja baps the side of Geraint's head softly, speaking low as to not let anyone else hear.

[Sanure]

Pitua is quickly approached by a red headed woman, who looks barely older than child, "Oh, I have questions for you! Do you know who it was who attacked here? Do you know what they were after? Are you even human? Did you see where the witch went? Is that a slimeling?! Oh my god that's so cool!" Though her looks betray her, she's clearly one of the Lord Knights, if the emblem on her robe is anything to go by.

The man from earlier and one of his fellow knights approaches Agilulf and his group, "Now, tell me, were any of you involved, and where did the dragon go?"

[SOLDIER First]

He gives her a strange look for just a moment. "I see. You're all right, I assume? You don't look injured, though with magic it's not always clear."

Geraint briefly wonders why and how Freyja leapt into the air to touch his head, but it passes. In response he places his gauntlet on Freyja's head and pushes her away slightly. "It slipped my mind. Don't touch me."

"We were, yes. Fought her and her beasts... Oh! That's right, there was a beast attacking the witch's monsters! I forgot in all the excitement."

Elaine shakes her head while keeping it bowed and hidden from Geraint.
"N-not at all.....don't worry about me, really. I....saw what happened to you. I should.....be asking you if you are okay.

Also....the dragon went....into the alleyway past the broken buildings."

Pitua immediately yelps, albeit quieter than last time, and stutters out answers, slime sputtering out with them.

"Uh, uh, I... I d-don't know who she was! She, she's unrecognizable and she had this, this weird magic and oh gosh, oh gosh, I'm sorry! Uh, uh... Okay, okay... No, I'm n-not human, I'm a water elemental. I'm a s-scholar here at one of the librariums. I don't know where the witch went, she s-seemed to just... disappear. Yes, this is a slimeling, I can summon them to h-help me,
 because I don't like fighting by m-myself."

Pitua calms down by the end of it, but her stress was obvious by the increased gurgling that occured when she talked. She is still shaking, but not dripping slime as much.

[SOLDIER First]

Geraint stretches his good arm a little. "I'm all right, really. The only hit I took was being sent into that building..."

[Projeck37]

Freyja grumbles something about Geraint, and keeps her head low, hiding behind him from the knights.

[Sanure]

"Look, I understand you are trying to protect her, but we still need to question her on why a dragon like herself was in our city. Especially on a day our good emperor was attacked. So please,
 if you can at least tell me where she went, or what she looks like right now, I would very much be in your debt."

The woman accompanying the man turns to Elaine and speaks rather bluntly, "Though you say that, we both know where the dragon really went." "Syble, stay your words.
 We have no proof besides what you saw. Do not sound accusing until we have actual proof." "Sorry, Syrel. I beg your forgiveness for my accusation."

Elaine remains calm in the face of the accusatory tone and the insinuations made towards her.
"I....am sorry I am not of more use to you, my lady."

[SOLDIER First]

"I can't hear you too well down there, you know."

Geraint glances suspiciously between the guards and Elaine but says nothing.

[Sanure]

The red haired lady laughs, "Fret not, my fair lady, I mean not to make you uncomfortable. Which Librarium do you frequent? Are you a part of the local mages guilds? perhaps you are a researcher working for Lobest? I hope not, he can be a real womanizer!" She laughs at her own joke, whoever this Lobest is must be pretty bad, "ah, wehre are my manners, I am Cecil,
I pleasure to meet you, my fair lady." She gives a quick curtsy.
