Spy CrisisSparrow, one of the loyalist spies, heads out with his friend, a Handy Burglar, in search of the lost spies. Together, the pair of them are able to track down the majority of the old spy ring, but the former spies are less than inclined to return. Sparrow and his ally do not do this alone, however. With the aid of the many treasures of Lord Dunk they provide plentiful bribes to those brought back by money. For those who desired better tools to work with, the Weaponsmith provided the pair chests of high quality equipment. And for those who fled the country because crimes of the past might catch them without the king's protection, a Scribe had provided copy after copy of pardons for those 'loyal' to the king.
By the time September arrives, Sparrow has returned to Sheepstead with a full list detailing the location, occupation and identities of all the spies of the realm.

Throw in several forged letters of credit from a Scribe and the emissaries returned to Weyland with a glowing commendation of their time here.
As a gift of gratitude, Jarl McKinley sent back an iron circle wreathed in olive leaves, a classic sign of peace and companionship.

The sleeping sickness has claimed him, and news of his death has reached Vasir. The Duke of Vasir is blaming Elbreth for his death and relations between our states have soured considerably.
The Vasiri Ambassador Crisis has auto-failed. The Foreign Ministry is weakened.SeptemberSeptember arrives and while the country has suffered troubles, overall things are on the rise. News of heresy filters into the ears of the court, aided by the renewed spy network of the Crown. The country is stable, barring the remaining victims of the sleeping sickness, and no crises threaten to destabilise it immediately.
The king is enthusiastic about this time of relative security and wishes to bestow favours upon Cinad and Pangaea, whom he holds responsible for the kingdom's recent successes.
Rooting out Moun-Sponsored Heretics
Elbreth adheres to Suulian Orthodoxy, the primary heresy of which is Mounish Heterodoxy, headed by the Archbishop of Moun. The newly revived spy network has determined that the theft of the Gospel of St Corbett was partly organised by heretics within the country. Bribes must be made, inquisitions carried out and this network of heretics eliminated. If we cannot, our relations with the Archbishopric of Suul will suffer.

Spy-aided Heretics
There are groups of heretics within the country, and while this itself is not a crime collusion with foreign powers to disrupt the country is. Our refurbished spy network hints that some of the communities in the realm are aided by spies in the pay of foreign powers and are secret heretics determined to overthrown the crown. Through careful questioning heretics may be determined, then cleansed with fire and the sword.
