This is Etja-zemra, a Blood spear forged originally by Valerik Nerkun, the necromancer, and currently under the ownership of Johnny Comet after proving his worth to the spear in an astounding show of pain and cleverness.
It consumes health while wielded, but heals and strengthens the user when they damage or Impale an enemy with it.
It also holds the power of blood lightning, which is spontaneously generated.
It is soulbound, and will find it's way to it's owner in time.
It lusts for blood, and must be quenched in it, either through brutal combat, or normal quenching.
Blood related spells and abilities are Overwhelmingly powerful when this spear is the centerpiece of them.
-1 Mana
You add light to the shield, Making it much more bearable to carry, this also makes it shine somewhat.
"Know" + "Blank Sigil" = "Scribblings" a Spell that Inscribes seemingly random information on a solid surface when provided mana.
"Designate Area" + "Transmute" = "Transmute Area" a useless spell that designates an area to be transmuted into something.
The oblivion orb can at best, be squished flat, any angles allow an object inside of it, and restore it's circular shape.
The blood orb however, is a bit like a balloon, and can be squished with anything blunt, While anything sharp penetrates it, releasing the blood within.
"Animate" + "Blank Sigil" = "Golem Sigil" a spell which engraves a fragile rune onto an object, granting it animation. However, it can only follow the bare simplest of commands, And the object can only move if joints are built in. It is also a rather cheap spell, and lasts until the rune takes damage.
"Animate" + "Designate Area" = "Curse of Motus" a spell which animates all humanoid objects in an area, they are both mindless and uncontrollable however, and simple wander about within the area.
You split one Steel Mana, gaining a small fragment of Magicite and a small metal tag engraved with a rune, it is revealed to have an empathetic connection to the piece of steel the mana came from.
You channel mana into a blank spell bubble, and it grows in size, but remains blank and empty.
Channeling mana through a Flame Inhale Spell bubble Increases it's size, until it pops in a blast of fire.
"Inhale" + "Designate Object" = "Craft Container of Winds" Which turns a container into a magical object that when opened once, sucks in air with great force, and when opened again, or shaken, shoots this air out.
"Inhale" + "Designate Area" = "Zone of Breath" a spell which improves breath effects and impedes all weakness debuffs in an area.
Blank spell bubble + Psychocite mana = A purple stone bowl labeled by The Wailascope as a Pensieve, It can store memories and allow people to view them at their leisure, either from the surface, or by diving in to experience a flashback firsthand as a third party.
You infuse a blank spell bubble with Demonite mana, and it pops immediately, corroding itself from the inside, you also do the opposite, And have to quickly catch it mentally as it turns into a liquid substance.
Demonite Mana + "Blank Sigil" = "Eyesore curse" a spell that creates a sigil which harms and corrodes anything that looks at it.
"Animate" + "Designate Object" = Animate Object
You use this on demonite mana to startling effect, it takes on a quadrupedal shape, the faces begin to act as one, and it attacks anything that moves, You tentatively label it as a Rotweiler,
You destroy it before it can rip off more of your face than is necessary, with a well placed stab in it's head(s?), courtesy your Halfstaff.
"Biokinesis" = "Kinesis" a useless spell that moves some unspecified thing, and "Raw Life"
"Craft Scroll" = "Designate Object" and a small square piece of flat Magicite.
"Sustain Dead" = "Target Undead", a useless spell that designates an Undead for an unspecified effect, and "Sustain" An unpredictable and inefficient spell which can grant anything energy.
"Sustain" + "Blank Sigil" = "Energy Rune" a spell which engraves a rune on an object, granting it energy by consuming mana.
Sustained Spell Bubble + Mana = Soul orb, an object which can Absorb up to 10 mana either by blocking spells, or being near living things. this mana can be extracted By a living thing in direct contact with it using common channeling techniques.
The mining mech Has obtained several of everything you have encountered thus far by rechecking previous sites for leftover materials, including gems, Raritanium, Iron, gold, Copper, and platinum.
You start to gather everyone for a massive loot extravaganza, But Galarn't stops you.
"Can we try and leave a city for those good people to come back to? I know you are exited, but only about half of the things on that list are appropriate to loot, having belonged, in the loosest sense of the word, to the bandits."
"Gah, can't let me get away with cleaning out one entire city can you?"
"Correct."
Given Galarn't's dreadful morality, you and the gang take everything that wasn't originally in the city, such as the vehicles, mechs, food, and giant monster corpse, which has to be left in the capable hands of the mining mech, Crate Candy Corn and Galarn't.
You finish the cloning basin, which looks almost like a swimming pool with a tarp over it if you were being perfectly honest.
Using the mana at your disposal, you start 10 stomachs growing, which will be done tomorrow.
All of this assorted Junk Empties your mana reserves, Leaving you with a paltry 20 Mana.
You decide to go back to the castle and meditate to try and find Johnny's soul, you fail, which either means he has passed on, or you aren't close enough, He did die miles underground after all, and probably miles away too.
You pour Bloody Johnny's into bottles with with alchohol and water, cap them with simple glass corks and seek out the bandits with Jeanne, eventually finding a small group of them seated around a dying campfire, about 30 or so in total. there are probably several of these camps if you had to guess.
"Free Illicit Alcoholic beverages!"They pull their weapons on you, and you and Jeanne do the exact same Mexican standoff style...
"Did you hear the man? Free. Illicit. Alcoholic. Beverages."I know one of those words. and you are lucky I liked it. Now tell me some more words that I know and like."The beefy one says, brandishing a machete modeled after a combat knife.
