"Well, we finally got you, those antimagic cuffs are unbreakable, and untrickable. Even you can't get out of them."

"Lets start with a few questions, just for the record."

"What is your name, your full name?"

"Are you male, female, or other?"

"Anything we need to know about your Looks? And nothing funny, we know you are a bipedal humanoid at the very least."

"And lastly, though this one is a bit more personal I suppose, but I've tracking you down for so long, I just have to know, Do you consider yourself more of a necromancer, or a mechanic after all this?"


((Bit of a side story to complement "The Many". As a guide, this one is going to be more about building than adventuring if that tickles your fancy. Also the whole game is a flashback.))

Speaking of lowest intelligence, that reminds me of the fact that it's probably your first time in prison. Don't worry, I can give you some tips, having spent some time in a few myself. The best way to make friends here is to drop the soap during shower time. Try it, I'm sure you'll love making friends like that!

"Now that the nobleman paperwork is over and done with, tell me your story. The whole thing.

"Well it started right before my ultimate creation as an ordinary necromancer, a staff that could control life as a pipe controls water, and then two people attacked my tower at the same time in a bout of unfortunate timing."



"OY! Ye foul necromancer, I ave' come to end ya threat to thes' world once an for all!"

"How did you hide the magical energy in an unwieldy thaumic device like that?"

"Well thas' jus it-"

("It was at this point that a Paladin's explosion of light washed through my inner sanctum, shattering my phylactery, and thrusting me back as my necromantic power already gripped the gnome's head, When my staff shattered from the holy energies destabilizing it, it very nearly killed me, and certainly killed the gnome.)

(And so without my phylactery, rendering me mortal, my necromantic powers almost destroyed by the paladin's meddling, and the shattered machine of the gnome, the gnomes destroyed body, and scraps of wood from my window surrounding me, I decided that I was in no fit state to travel, and drained the gnome's mind as best as I could, learning a tiny bit about machinery, and then reanimating what little of his body remained, and had him to build, And thus began the long journey of a ridiculous amount of miles that I was thrown from my tower.)

He build a ramshackle cart for you to rest in, and some materials are scattered on the ground (Displayed in materials) There is not enough muscle power for him to drag all of the materials however. so you will need to pick out 3 units of material at most to carry along with you.

(That was the first base of my new giant mobile fortress in case you were wondering, I think I named it something cool too, but I can't remember.)

You have your minion gather the wooden plank and as much scrap as he can load, you receive (1 Wooden plank, 1 Dented copper plate, 1 Jagged Bronze rod)

You encounter some bobcats. And they smell your little friend.

The green bar shows the health of your cart, While the purple bar shows the health of all your remaining zombies. If either one dips to zero...

In the top left corner is your mental clock, you have 5 total encounters before nightfall.

Splintered life: Animate dead plants with magic.

I mainly gave it to allow for easy building if you don't have tools, but do have magic.
