Just bring 'em all in. It'll make the cart faster anyway.

Also, use the soup ladle to try and scoop up the purple thing in the portal. If it's close enough, that is; it might just be really big and a bajillion kilometers away.

you bring the undead in before continuing on.

You put it away after reading it, and continue on.

You find a Cyclops statue made of obsidian and covered in wafered gold, It's eye is a glass phial containing a liquid metal.

The statue is slightly buried in the sand

You try to scoop out the ghostly looking thing, but it only budges slightly, and you jolt to attention when your master stirs as a result.

Looking closely at your master's continence, you can see that he is still firmly asleep.

Ohhhh, perhaps that purple thing is his soul, and that portal leads to that void world, so it shows us his soul.
Let's not touch it from now on, anyway.
SS: follow east tracks!
NS: Get one of the skeletons to face masters head, slightly off to the left, then use the skeleton paper to search in that portal slightly to the left as well.

Remember, that could be his soul, so if channeling energy into it causes some sort of tug o' war on our (wizard butlers) soul, then bam, no more wizard butler, if the arrival of new magic causes the equivalent of a allergic reaction, bam, no more Necromancer dude.
Messing with a soul currently already attached to a body doesn't seem like the best course of action when said soul is our main character.

You command a minion to stand next to Valerik, and move the tube a little to the left.

Sure enough, You see a tiny blip Next to what you presume is his soul, Or at least some kind of equivalent.

You see the blip being pulled towards your masters soul, but the pull is too weak to do anything other then nudge the undead closer.

SS: Either those tracks came from there, or something came back inside.
Ahh, what the hell, ATTACK THE PILE!
NS: Alright, send our criminal skeleton crew to go up to the golem, perhaps give it a tap, if it moves, for a circle around it with their weapons trained on it.

+1 Also get the skeleton to move in such a way as to get it's soul as close to master's as possible.

Look, I really don't think it's in any ones best interest to be pouring unfiltered, unrestrained and near uncontrollable truly dead magic onto a soul, at best, perhaps the magic is repelled, at worst, we could be destroying the soul.
That is how it works, right?

I think so, and even if it isn't, I still think that pouring literal death onto our master's soul is a bad idea.

Nope. Necromancer. Immune to Death magic.

Hmm... AFAIK, death magic =/= dead magic, but I could be wrong, or we might be immune to both.

Plus, I specifically remember that Dead magic is not Death magic, dead magic is magic completely separated from its owner.
Lemme search for that quote.
Edit: Well, the only mention I can find is about how no one has ever tried to apply Dead magic to a soul, as it could ruin it, or give it some sort of power.
50/50 chance hey? Still don't think it's a good idea however.

I couldn't find the quote but I'm pretty sure when we asked about our dead magic ever being too dead to control he said it was like asking if a pipe can be melted if the water it too pure.
