Ketsuki stood back. "Then I leave it to your expertise."

((No, but the alarms probably woke you up and caught your interest on what is going on outside.))

((If you want to stay in we can say she came downstairs at the noise and is now with the group. Or you can go on a SOLO ADVENTURE! until you remeet. Your choice.))

The locks appear to be entirely mundane.

Try to pick the locks. If fail, try to break them with my crowbar and hammer. If fail, try to break the hinges of the grate instead.

((Plan A, Plan B, Plan C... Let's hope we won't need Plans D, E or F.))

(16,12,13;+4+3-2) Chance works quickly and quietly, and whilst she occasionally glances over her shoulder regretfully at the figures rushing past in the street, her hands stay steady.
When she is finished, Gunnar pulls the grate open and ushers the group through, leading into a small, cramped tunnel, only just large enough for the large being to fit himself, and the crawling. The others are somewhat more comfortable, but none especially so.
Then a roar sounds overhead, and with only one way to go, the group crawls in the damp. The stonework is slick with a thin layer of frost, covered itself with a fingers width of water, but the ground is level.
It soon ends just above the ground of a small chamber. The floor here is sloped downwards towards one corner, where a hole sits, leading straight downwards. Another two tunnels lead into the chamber, the first of which is similar to the one behind the group, though significantly wetter. The second is just large enough for an ogre to pass through with a bowed head, and seems to have both the steepest upwards slope and the least moisture.

Whisper to compensate for echo:

"Which way?"

If he doesn't know, check out the hole in the corner.

((Ok, Fia's with the party then.))

Gunnar nods to the larger passageway, before spitting as glob of blood on the floor. His voice seems to wheeze even worse than before.
'Should be that way to the main tunnels.'

"That way, then, unless you listen to reason and get healed already."

Once we start moving, get stealthy and take point.

Anthony shrugs and goes through unless requested to heal.

 'No.'
You get the feeling he would have shouted if not for the echoes. Regardless, he pushes on ahead of the group, and it is only after a minute has passed that he lets Chance take point. Numerous small side branches enter the main tunnel, but these are all smaller and drier than that which the group entered through. The tunnel itself is bare but for the faint traces of mildew at the bases of the walls and light runes engraved into the ceiling, and the only sounds are the groups footsteps and the scurrying of the odd rat.
A few more minutes pass and the tunnel starts to level out, and it is almost flat by the time the end is reached. A small door, made of iron bars and slightly smaller than the average dwarf, is set in the wall. It opens easily to the touch, though Gunnar mutters slightly to himself as he bends double to pass through.
'Old bloody dwarves. Took them too damn long to get used to biggers.' Chance hears as he enters the chamber beyond.
The chamber itself is a vast space, the size of a feast hall, with a height to match. Two rows of pillars run along it, flanking the main road that passes down its middle. The group has entered from one of a myriad of side passages, though the rust on their gates' hinges indicates they haven't been used for decades at the least.
Gunnar strides out into the middle of the road with a grunt of disgust.
’Bloody Dwarv-’ A fit of coughing cuts him short, and blood leaks out over the top of his gorget. When he carries on, his voice is much weaker.
’Maybe we had best stop here. Bloody dwarves don’t leave signposts.’ He motions for Anthony to come closer. ’You say you’re a healer right? Could we head a short way back down that passage and you can fix me up?’
