Anthony and Gunnar re-enter the hall to silence. Whilst the blood on Gunnar’s armour remains, there is no more flowing from the wound.
’Anyone got a good guess as to which way?’ His voice sounds clear now.

"No, but let's see..."

Check which way the water on the floor is flowing.

Fia draws the rune. There is no visible effect.

In the hall the water is very shallow, but on closer examination there is a slight flow down to the left hand exit on the road.

 Gunnar inclines his head.
'I'll take your word for it.'
He continues speaking as he starts to walk.
'From what I remember, these tunnels run right through these mountains, from tip to tail. Clearly they aren’t as well used as they were back then, but they’re sturdy enough to hold.’
He bangs a fist against the wall to illustrate his point, and a metallic clang echoes through the tunnel. A small fragment of masonry from the impact lands on the floor below a moment later.
’Well, hopefully. Anyway, we should be able to make the Southern tip in just a few days. There should be a couple of villages along our route for supplies, and the path is dotted with wells.’
 He glances over to Ketsuki.
’And once we reach port we can chase your Saint until the light doesn’t return.’

Anthony frowns at the fallen piece and begins moving on.

Chance starts walking with the others and soon takes point once more.

Ketsuki merely matched his gaze, beginning to walk again.

Two wells pass before anything of interest happens. Both are dry, a fact that doesn't seem to take Gunnar entirely by surprise. Regardless, the group carry on walking, with the line of light runes on the ceiling continuing into the distance. The tunnel grows larger, until it is more than wide enough for ten carts to run abreast, and around half that height. The supports look almost as if they were grown from the stone itself, climbing up the walls to hold up the ceiling. A strange alphabet marks every fifth such support, and side passages similar to the those in the hall sit besides every tenth support.
Then the line of lights stops. A tumble of rubble and stone obscures the passage beyond, reaching all the way from the road to the tunnel ceiling. A small pool of water has formed at its base, with a murky green film on its surface.

Anothny looks around the tunnel on the off chance there's any suspicious things.

He fails to spot anything else out of place.

Ketsuki frowned at the cave in. "With these tunnels being old as you say, I suppose coming across a cave-in was inevitable at some point."

She looked around and stepped up to a carved pillar. Ketsuki traced one of the letters of the strange alphabet with a finger.
"Old dwarven, I guess? I know enough of letters to get by, but I don't recognise ever seeing these."
