Tack: Why do you think the recycler is scum?  Still confused about your opinion on Tiruin too.

I'd think the recycler is scum, since he targeted the guy who claimed a very town role.

Fixed a word and added a brackte BWOP.

Quick post.

Tiruin, NativeForeigner: Miller or Not Miller?

Any particular reason this matters to you? The answer is going to be wildly useless.

Normally I'd vote NativeForeigner, but I figure if he's scum he can only be as useless to them as he is to us right now.

You're cute.

Tack. Since I didn't get to yesterday (nice hammer, by the way, Tawarochir. Way to waste a day.).

Basically, I don't like your answer to my question. It came off as very selfish. You basically admitted you would vote for the safe lynch for the point rather than attempting to get the right lynch. The only players that selfish are bad town and scum.

4maskwolf: I believe your claim regarding your kill. Mostly because I hold a fun ton of information now.

I'll share in case something horrible happens to me.

I'm a fortune teller. Here are my results, a list of all powers, autos, and flaws currently in play:

Spoiler: I know all~ (click to show/hide)

Points of interest: Only one kill. Only five millers (and we have a bajillion miller claims, go figure). Two Innocents.

Basically what this means is two people claiming they didn't take miller are probably scum and all but five claiming miller are lying as well.

So we have our claims (I've added my own as well as completed the list with the data given. I forgot to change the colors of my additions):

MILLER CLAIMS
Tiruin - Miller
mastahcheese - Miller
4maskwolf - Miller
Jim Groovester - Miller
Tack - Not Miller
NativeForeigner - Not Miller
Objective - Not Miller
P-Luke - Not Miller - truth
MyOwnWorstEnemy - Not Miller
Deathsword - Miller
Tawarochir - Miller
Jack A T - Miller
Leafsnail - Miller
TheDarkStar - Miller

So, we have nine miller claims and five not miller claims (one now dead). That means it's very likely that six people are lying (nine millers - five existing + two innocents). This doesn't means that six people are guaranteed to be lying, but that's probably the most likely scenario. This gives us a basic idea of how many enemies we're facing, which is helpful.

Now, P-Luke has been eliminated. That means that half of the not-miller claims are likely lying. And we know for a fact that four of the miller claims are lying as well. I know I'm town, so that lowers the possible non-millers to three. This information coupled with my above reason is why I think Tack is scum.

Quickpost: Planning.

Thanks NF. :)

I'm a Protector, have one protect-the other is a free unit and one Inflate. I seriously doubt Tack is scum (or if scum, playing a reaaaaal nice 'victim' role). I infer that the scumteam is a saboteur set-up, aiming to destroy all town power-roles and suck em up for the long-run play instead of aiming for short-run kill and burn strikes.

Meaning: Goddamn Sap is OP. As for the moment: Leafsnail.
Explanations in a few hours because argh lief.

EBWOP: I meant Sap & Recycle. One could easily take all dem flaws, ask a scumteammember to have Cleanse, and do a cleansweep on D1. >_> Granted, if NF tells the truth and I see that he mostly has given my role-picks, we're in deep s-...

And there's no darn way to protect against those other than randomizing the player or blocking them.

Hi native.

The only problem with that is that there would be no reason for so many people to lie.  We have three djinn, so I'm guessing that all three scum claimed miller, two of whom had innocent, and one town being really silly.

lolz, no roleblocker, a buzzton of protects, a convert (told you so), no randomize, a changeling (probs scum), two infallible alignment cops, a hide (was this after the death last night), the stupid recycle day-sap combo.

I'm pretty sure you all can guess one of my two autos, just from that list.

PPE: Okay, I can claim.  Miller blatant unable to vote clearminded unstoppable nightkiller.  Who was going to take immovable before the fortune tell.  Thanks for that, by the way.

For the sake of making all the Day- and Free- powers easier to find, I'll claim that I own half of them.

My powers:
Free Day Scan (I'm surprised to be the only scanner, actually)
Free Day Sap (I'm not the one that took Tack's money points, I'm actually ticked that someone beat me to them. Which means that of the remaining 2 day powers, one of them is one of the other saps, if not both of them.)

And I'm a harcore miller that can't vote, which is how I can afford my OP free day sap.
The plan was to amass enough points to rid myself of No-Vote as soon as possible.

And if someone wants to flavor scan me, I'm Dracula, for all my blood sucking point stealing. I will admit that I failed to steal any points so far, though.

So no, I do not have the recycle/sap combo, I'm just an ass.

Thank you, NF.

FINALLY! SOMEONE GETS WHAT I WAS TRYING TO DO.
THIS is why I said there's bigger hands to play, This is why I was avoiding the miller discussion and This is why I wouldn't answer Jim's exceedingly useless question.
Now someone just needs to make sure that NativeForeigner is shiny, and we know exactly how many cards are in the deck.

Leafsnail
What possible reason would a townie have to stop a possible cop from making their action at night?
Please actually read instead of asking for the same answers over and over again.

MILLER CLAIMS
4 false millers
Tiruin - Miller
mastahcheese - Miller
4maskwolf - Miller
Jim Groovester - Miller
Deathsword - Miller
Tawarochir - Miller
Jack A T - Miller
Leafsnail - Miller
TheDarkStar - Miller

2 Innocent
NativeForeigner - Not Miller
Objective - Not Miller
P-Luke - Not Miller - truth
MyOwnWorstEnemy - Not Miller
Tack - Not Miller

NativeForeigner, it kind of perplexes me why you'd tell me that my asking who is and isn't miller is 'useless', and then then put that selfsame strategy into play.

Seeing as Jack A T already cleared me (And in a very good way, too, as only through his flavor text and my assertion that I'm a magistrate can I be cleared, meaning we're either both town or he or I am incredibly bad mafia)

But if I were to take your assertion that you're town as true, then Objective is almost assuredly scum.

I'm still really confused about why so many townies would lie about whether or not they're millers, though.

Because on its own, the question is useless. It isn't until there's a way to confirm how many milers there are that it becomes useful.

Seriously, I love lists.

Seems to check out, so far.
But that means that the people who have yet to claim are quite likely to be scum.

Wait why would 6 people be lying?  I guess the mafia could have 5 members.
I infer that the scumteam is a saboteur set-up, aiming to destroy all town power-roles and suck em up for the long-run play instead of aiming for short-run kill and burn strikes.
"The scum have a setup which is able to completely erase people's roles!  Let's all claim so they can better identify their targets!"

Also voting me is not an explanation for your earlier behaviour.

@ bolded part: Freudian slip, my friend? Are you not town?
No.  I don't even see what the slip is meant to be.

Please actually read instead of asking for the same answers over and over again.
Oh right I think I read that earlier and then dismissed it because it was asinine.  That logic would apply in a normal game, but in a game where, say, there are cult leaders who can win the game within two days it might be a good idea to block a scummy seeming person who seems desperate to have their action resolve.

Also I'm not at all convinced that the flavour inspections "clears" you.  Firstly because it's pretty vague, and secondly because Jack AT could easily be scum or converted.  The fact that you're trying to use it as absolute proof of your innocence is suspicious too.

I propose a massclaim.

...Because really. Sap and Recycle? If we're to fix this up-then the best note I've got is the massclaim. It doesn't help scum in anyway given the amount of malevolent powers compared to positive ones (and 3 protects as opposed to one kill--supposing that the Free powers do not poke at either Recycle or Kill [in which that's one darn expensive kill.]).

Judging by Tack's premise: That's a Day Sap/Day Recycle, most possibly by two different persons who did not take Blatant (or one person with at least ~-5) flaws to back that point counter up. Not considering whatever happened last night as the case: The more I think about this, the more I see a setup of the 3 players as distinct roles of:

A Converter; A saboteur [daysap/day recycle] and another one who could interchange with the second person here.

...Granted, we've 5 Miller picks and 9 claimants.
Compare that with 2 choices for Innocent (WITH INNOCENT NOT BEING A pre-game-start-choice!), I'd fathom that either scum claimed miller D1 and bought it off (2 points, wow.) then switched to innocent, that they went for a low-point buy early in game with aims onto the convert/saboteur theory above.

Anyways: Leafsnail: Could I get your whole opinion on me? Are you still curious about me? Because I take it that you're more rather a concrete thinker and like putting things as they are instead of checking them out as passing ideas.

Point for formatting...

Interesting wording.
Sentence in question being:
Addendum: Lied?
...
You're really jumping to conclusions here. Could you in the very least be more detailed in your posts? Because you know that I'll keep on asking you afterwards.
...And then in your next post say you weren't.  Look, a post just saying "X is town" clearly, clearly implies that you have an inspection result that suggests someone is town.  You've played in games with cops before.  You know this.  So why did you do it?  You didn't explain in your previous post.

But what did I say?
Spoiler: Shurpriiise!~ (click to show/hide)
I did not say that he was explicitly town, I said he was explicitly innocent.
>_>

What part of what I'm saying is contradicted by what part of what you said?

"OK, so you're saying you were trying to mislead the town."
In which Leafsnail takes everything at face value and does not bother to think about it-labeling it thusly as malevolent instead of questioning it thoroughly.
PS:
I never said I was doing anything against the 'town', which you do love explicitly mentioning, but that part of the damn intent, in that scenario upon reflection, was that it would look like an investigate result via the note of the whole post!

Problem being: Hey look I'm Blatant let's make this look like an investigate oh let's not say what the repercussions of that are and instead debate on this tangent instead!

You never say what the reason behind the argument you put there led to. You put the label of misleading and drifted from there.
That is where I see you contradict me. In making something look bigger than it is, or making a trivial part of the argument into the main focus.

Quote
I don't get the first part, but I'm implying that you were trying to falsely say you had a day power.  Only now that you've realized that would be impossible, you're trying to pretend you never made such an implication.
... >_>
Oh how smart of you. Like I'd forget that I took Blatant. Why, yes Leafsnail! I only now realized that it would be impossible! :O
OMG!
Can you fix your logical processor, please? You imply a wrong where there is no wrong, however I do take note that you aren't capitalizing on it.

Quote
I did indeed infer that you had a day inspection from your post.  That was due to the fact that you strongly implied you had one.  Heck, you said that you were doing so a few posts ago:
Oh wow! You did notice it! You noticed I said 'part'! And 'I guess'!
Quote
And in any case you've played enough games to realize that a bare post stating simply "X is innocent" (as opposed to, eg, "X is probably innocent") should be read as "I have an inspection result on this person which says they're innocent".
Ah, right-I do admit this is my fault, however I do stand on the ground that I did not think of that as the foremost thought when I posted it. I posted that as a quickpost from the ideas on my notes. That PLuke was innocent compared to what allegations were leveled against him (oh and his posts >_>)

What can you draw from that compared to what's going on now?

Quote
Now, if you'd just said "Well that was a gambit that didn't work due to the quickhammer" afterwards I'd accept that as a reason.  But instead you're making strange and contradictory excuses ("Yeah, I was implying I had an inspect" vs "No I never implied anything you're crazy!").  And there's also the whole inflate thing which I still don't get.
...Because I did not think of it as a gambit?
I do daresay that you totally missed the note in parenthesis after that.

And what about that inflate thing? I'm mentioning my power.

Quote
Not really.  Scum can just evade the inspection with innocent for a single point.  And even if we accept that alignment cop has some (absolutely miniscule) utility there's no way it has anywhere near as much as either Ability Cop or Infallible.
Aye, but that costs them - from the perspective of numbers as paranoia - one point against the alignment cop possibility. Said cop could also pick at his/her discretion on the matter in which it doesn't make the scenario wholly worthless.

Quote
It gets you more points.  More points can be used to buy more powers.  Powers can be used by townies to find, hinder or even kill mafia members.  If mafia members are exposed, weakened or dead it is more likely that the town will win.  Therefore it is a good auto for townies.

If people all played like idiots and quickhammered with it that would be a problem, but if you only shifted your vote towards the end of the day that wouldn't be too bad a thing.  Especially since it would prevent the scum from fucking with the vote as much.
...Ah, now that makes more sense. If near day end-pile all votes on the lynched.

However what if the scenario presents itself that the people are divided on the matter? Wouldn't that be an incentive towards...insane (lacking holistic) thinking?
