Ah, right, that stuff.

I'm not very good at actually paying attention.

Okay, I didn't call you out on it because whatever you did was not overtly hostile.  You were either a scum who had spent a ridiculous (and nigh unattainable) number of points on a day convert, or what you did had no effect on his gameplay.  This would seem to indicate either a bizarre day-protecter or a daycop of some sort.  Regardless, your action was harmless, so I let it go.

Tiruin's seems harmless, but the scum buying a convert as opposed to a day-convert is more likely, and a blatant convert would be a risky but possibly extremely worthwhile gamble, depending on the number of people with blatant.  We appear to have at least 4 blatant players, which makes a blatant convert fade into the background.

On the other hand, my vote is meaningless, you realize?  I'm unable to vote, Jack A T, or did you forget so quickly?

Jack
Oh, and because I brought it up: NQT: Would you be so kind as to tell us all how you handled Day 1's day actions, including when you would have theoretically processed them?
Day 1, I processed all the day actions at the end of the day. From now on, I'm leaving 12 hours grace period before resolving actions as I come to them.

4maskwolf: I treat your red like I treat blue: an indication of suspicion.  Your vote may have no effect, but that does not make your questionable statements worth leaving unquestioned.

You do still have the power to post your arguments and thoughts to persuade people, after all.  Why leave your efforts unexamined?

NQT, is the list of people not voting at the start of the day an accurate representation of everybody who has a vote?

Oh, and I inflated Kill. :3
No I didn't but what would YOU like to know.
Actually, I totes did.
Why would you inflate Kill?  Since mafia have access to the infinitely better Convert for one more it's basically a town ability.
...You seriously like taking my word at face value, huh.
No, I didn't inflate kill. I inflated Resurrect.
Tiruin, why are you lying? First you say that you inflated kill (then add that you didn't, then that you did, all in the same post), then next post you say you inflated resurrect instead. Why are you being so inconstant?

Quickpost

P-Luke is innocent.

Now, this has been adressed by some, but why were you so certain then? You didn't say you assumed he was innocent, or that you believed he was, or that evidence pointed it to him being innocent. You said he was. In bold. This implies certainty, which can only be aquired by being a cop or being scum. Why and how were you so sure he was clear? You claim it was based on your notes, but the way you worded it doesn't indicate such a thing.

I find it pretty likely for Tiruin to be scum.
Indeed Tiruin was who I was nvestigating last night.
But the fact I still have my points, and as day actions resolve immediately, means that she obviously isn't whichever scum is running recycle/DaySap, so I think in this case it's more "the squeaky townie gets the noose".
I really don't get this post.  You start by saying Tiruin is scum but end by implying she's town?

...You're insinuating negatives over anything else, huh. But matters first, explicitly town?

Interesting wording.
I honestly can't see how this relates to what I posted at all.  As Jack said I didn't use those words or anything like them.

Nice moves dude. If you bothered reading, you'd note that what you're saying right here is contradictory to what I exactly said. I'm unsure if its your parser or whatever but you're really misinterpreting in a scummy way.
What part of what I'm saying is contradicted by what part of what you said?

And along that note: I did it because it was parallel to my notes that I took while away. Check my post-count, that's like my second-ish post that existed. What're you trying to imply by all that, for that matter?
I don't get the first part, but I'm implying that you were trying to falsely say you had a day power.  Only now that you've realized that would be impossible, you're trying to pretend you never made such an implication.

Uh, no. You basically inferred that I have some kind of day inspection. Claiming it as my words leads greatly to a misinterpretation on your part, and a miscommunication to the public eye, which as a holistic ideal does not make any sense in that regard.
I did indeed infer that you had a day inspection from your post.  That was due to the fact that you strongly implied you had one.  Heck, you said that you were doing so a few posts ago:
Yeah, I guess part of that intent was to make it look like an inspect result (but not the foremost idea behind it) due to the brevity...but then apparently lolhammer.
And in any case you've played enough games to realize that a bare post stating simply "X is innocent" (as opposed to, eg, "X is probably innocent") should be read as "I have an inspection result on this person which says they're innocent".

Now, if you'd just said "Well that was a gambit that didn't work due to the quickhammer" afterwards I'd accept that as a reason.  But instead you're making strange and contradictory excuses ("Yeah, I was implying I had an inspect" vs "No I never implied anything you're crazy!").  And there's also the whole inflate thing which I still don't get.

Basically none? Uh huh.
And pretty much worthless? I like your values! You don't think that it can be used in a way to check those who didn't claim miller?
Not really.  Scum can just evade the inspection with innocent for a single point.  And even if we accept that alignment cop has some (absolutely miniscule) utility there's no way it has anywhere near as much as either Ability Cop or Infallible.

No it does not. Well, bloodthirsty does not due to the inane characteristics it has or requires to gain a damn point. In that idea, and in the name alone, is the root of flippancy and vote-fallibility.

Why is bloodthirsty a 'best' thing for townies, in the large picture, Leafy?
It gets you more points.  More points can be used to buy more powers.  Powers can be used by townies to find, hinder or even kill mafia members.  If mafia members are exposed, weakened or dead it is more likely that the town will win.  Therefore it is a good auto for townies.

If people all played like idiots and quickhammered with it that would be a problem, but if you only shifted your vote towards the end of the day that wouldn't be too bad a thing.  Especially since it would prevent the scum from fucking with the vote as much.

The post strongly implied that you had an inspection result.
. . .And?
I also took the fact that you didn't challenge this post here as confirmation that yes, you were trying to imply you had an inspect result.

I protected MOWE.

But why?

I still don't see an explanation for why you decided to channel your inner Marty McFly about topical Day 1 discussion.
And there's a reason for that.
If you were smart, and thinking like a townie, you'd see it.

How about you answer my fucking question instead of dodge it in the tooliest fashion possible.

I find it pretty likely for Tiruin to be scum.

Then why not vote her?

Alright, time for me to go through the list of things that Jack could have done to me and their results:

Why are you trying to figure this out instead of find scum?

Alright, let's see what we've got here.

Tawarochir: So, about yesterday...A few quick questions: did it not occur to you that perhaps I wanted answers to my questions?  Why leap in with a "What Jack said" hammer?  What kind of justification for a bandwagon hammer is your target already having plenty of votes already?
Not related to suspicion: How much prior Mafia experience do you have, and from where?
-snip-

I said that because I had been suspicious of him for quite a while, didn't feel like going through and quoting seven posts which gave evidence, and instead quoted your post which summed up pretty much everything wrong with what's-his-face. (Shoot, forgot his name.)

Second, this is my first Mafia game (my first was orbfalls), and I'm trying to avoid the mistakes I made back there.

Third, Jack, what would you do if I pressure voted you?

Nice OMGUS.

I hope you have a reason behind that pressure vote because without one your vote is completely toothless.

Tawarochir: Should such a situation arise, my response would depend on what kind of stuff you had to put me under pressure.  I would likely respond to anything you had on me, ask a few questions, and keep on playing.

My post was almost completely in response to a P-Luke post that was very recent at the time.  You note that you were suspicious of him for quite some time.  What initially made you suspicious of P-Luke?

Because Jack A T voted you and you voted him in response. If there is a reason behind your vote it's not apparent.

1. The invitation to inspect him was an early alarm.

2. He picked no-vote even though it is a main weapon as town.

3.
Quote from: P-Luke
Ugh, well I'm not scum, but clearly I am very confused. I've played many games of mafia (though not as random as this one, or on this forum) and never before have I heared that it's a GOOD idea for all townies to be a miller. Cop is the only real weapon townies have (as well as voting, yes, which I did not pick), the rest is just self-defense.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner! Really? "I'm not scum" as part of a topic sentence? Major (false) tip-off.
