I'll be frank with you--I suspect you muchly due to the content of how you approached the matter, as well as how you did your efforts of the yesterday. You give me a declarative with which I've nothing to reply to but, no I didn't, or more likely, what sense is this?

Really, 4mask. If you're going to issue an assumption as apparent as that, make some space unless you're really dead-set in your ideas. This is what got you off in Jim's BM. I do not like how its being a near-replica of it now.
Hi Tiruin.
Actually, what killed me in that game was a jailkeeper *cough cough Mastahcheese*.
What space do you require?
I was throwing out a possibility, nothing more, nothing less.  If you don't like it, take it up with the sane 4maskwolf, he should be around here within the next 200 years.  Thank you for your patience.

I have a nightkill.

Just thought you all should know that.  I also have miller, blatant, cannot vote, and two autos I don't feel like revealing right now because it would ruin the fun.  I also have on point available.

I do have a reason. I'm trying to scum root, clearly. Why did you ask why I pressure voted, Jim Groovester?

Because Jack A T voted you and you voted him in response. If there is a reason behind your vote it's not apparent.

Oh. I'll try to be a bit clearer from now on, thanks.

Yeah, that's great, but what's your reason for your pressure vote?

I have a nightkill.

Just thought you all should know that.  I also have miller, blatant, cannot vote, and two autos I don't feel like revealing right now because it would ruin the fun.  I also have on point available.

You mean, two autos that if revealed everybody would know from your point total that you couldn't have taken miller.

In any case, why didn't you try to kill anybody last night?

Does the result of your action match up with his claim?

NQT, what does blatant reveal? Does it reveal the intended target or the actual target? Does it show up if the actor is blocked?

It shows the actual target, and so doesn't appear if the target is prevented from acting (from block, recycle, changeling, sap if you're a mercenary etc. etc.) or if there is no target to the action (inflate, fortune teller etc.)

Tiruin
Mr. Cheese
Tiruin
mastahcheese: How will you judge people for your vote? As in, what do you value: Their abilities, their way of logic, or their scumhunting skills?
How will I judge people for my vote? Hmm, well if you look at the "not voting" section, you will notice that I am not on the list.
I cannot vote, however I will make every attempt to still scumhunt and convince others to vote for who they find scummy, and I will be sure to make plenty of FoS's on people.
Abilities: A person's abilities can mean a lot, but telling the difference from a scum and a wanna-be Vig is hard. So it depends on the situation.
Logic: I think that the logic someone uses is the most important thing to look for. If I see someone try to raise a BS argument, I'll point it out.
Scumhunting: This is the one I'm the least sure about, it's hard to tell the difference from scum-hunting, and scummy attempts at incrimination.

What are your own thoughts on the matter?
*checks*
Oh huh. Query on that matter: [1] You do know that the vote is town's best weapon in lieu of having a kill, yes? Why did you make the choice not to vote? [2] A recycle costs 3, a full cleansing costs 3, and with the note of a 50% wastepoweronself flaw, it's quite a complex idea to put together, if I infer some tactics on your point.

Anyway: My thoughts on the matter fall on scumhunting. Firstly: Metaknowledge comes into play in regard to the people playing, in this very game--in the sense that the general gist of how that person would behave would carry on in how they would structure their Mafia-character here. Abilities becomes player-manual, meaning that the player has full control of their ideal role.
So my thoughts? They're amorphous on the matter, but I directly point out the principle of scumhunting as my foremost idea regarding judging people.
[1] Yes, I am. I am also aware that I can but off the No-Vote flaw once I get the points to do so, which I will do later on.
[2] ? How are you assembling these "tactics" from me? I fail to see why you would assume that those are my abilities. Or, what is it exactly you're trying to say here? I'm confused.
On Scumhunting: Yeah, I agree with you there, I suppose you could, if you knew the person well enough, guess what powers they would take, but like you said, scumhunting is still best.
I don't see the point of saying this? I don't think I said anything against this?

4maskwolf

First off, I also want to know your answer to Jack.

Second.
I have a nightkill.

Just thought you all should know that.  I also have miller, blatant, cannot vote, and two autos I don't feel like revealing right now because it would ruin the fun.  I also have on point available.
Nightkill - 4
miller - -1
blatant - -1
No Vote - -2

This means your two autos would have to have been bought with your starting 5, since you only have 1 point left from last night.
I'm guessing that one of those would be one of the 2 pointers, either unblockable or unredirectable. Which would leave your 3 pointer as Flexible, if I'm not mistaken? But I fail to see how that would make sense, since you're waiting for the right time to kill, and flexible would mean you plan on getting rid of it at some point. Unless, of course, you don't have miller because you're scum, in which case I'd imagine you took Immovable and Unstoppable, and simply choose to not kill so as to gain brownie points with the town.

You act like you're surprised, after claiming to have a full 6 points.
Way to paint a huge target on yourself, dude, I can't think of a single person who wouldn't sap that, town or scum.

What math are you doing, Cheese?  A kill is 6, not 4.  so I have three points to spend on autos.

I miscalculated, sorry. I thought it was 4 because a half-kill is two.

You act like you're surprised, after claiming to have a full 6 points.
Way to paint a huge target on yourself, dude, I can't think of a single person who wouldn't sap that, town or scum.
I'd already made the assumption that it was definitely scum who recycled me.
Add to that- it was almost certainly one person with both recycle and sap.

Ergo, by my reasoning-
1. The scum already know I'm sitting on 6 points, so me saying it out aloud only means the town now know it too.
2. I was hoping a townie with day-protect could stop it. But it seems that protect is now a completely useless skill that we'll all have to waste points cashing back in.
3. Therefore the only defense I have against getting scumsapped is declaring my 6 points in the hope that a townie saps me first.

THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN IN FUTURE NIGHTS. BE AWARE.

Normally I'd vote NativeForeigner, but I figure if he's scum he can only be as useless to them as he is to us right now.

MyOwnWorstEnemy: Exactly the same. What did you hope to achieve for the townie side by calling 'not miller'?
Well I wanted to point out that not every townie took miller and was wondering why a townie would agree to become a miller in exchange for one single point. It would have come out that I'm not a miller when I explained my point of view.

Leafsnail
I'd guess a night kill. A night convert would probably raise a lot of suspicion in a short period of time due to someone rapidly changing mood, while a night kill could be ambiguous, since anyone could have a kill.
Conversions are actually almost strictly better than kills.  You get an extra vote as well as removing a town vote, and also nobody realizes it happened.  They also fuck up any attempts to create confirmed townies.
The reason for them not to choose miller is to not confuse the hell out of each other and thus allowing the Alignment Cop to actually be somewhat useful. Did you choose miller?
Of course I did.  The Alignment Cop is basically 100% useless even without me picking miller.  Like, what do its investigations actually tell you?  A mafia investigation says "this person could be scum, or more likely is town with miller (still true even if I did not pick miller)".  A town investigation says "this person could be town, or could be a mafia member who predicted my arrival and spent a single point to render my 5 point ability completely useless".  Considering the fact that you could get Ability Cop for the same price (which would be good at spotting scum builds) or a 100% infallible inspection for a single point more I don't even see why anyone would pick it.  Heck, I think Count is actually a better inspection at 3 points less.

So basically I think the benefit entire town having +1 point (a point that mafia cannot get, and thus will struggle to lie about) vastly outweighs the downside of an already incredibly shite ability (with multiple better alternatives) becoming a tiny bit more shite.

So I guess I'll return the question: assuming you were town, you were offered an extra point basically for free.  Why didn't you take it?
I think I explained why I didn't take it. I misunderstood the system.

You were clearly attempting to mislead the town into thinking you had an inspection.  Which is a thing that would be advantageous to a mafia player, but not to a town player.  Basically I am asking you why you lied yesterday.
@ bolded part: Freudian slip, my friend? Are you not town?

I'd think a recycler is scum, since he targeted the guy who claimed a very town role.
