@King: At the least, can you make yourself some sort of dissolute nobility, no matter your plans? We're trying to get everyone on the same page in that.

My plan is to become a master of spies, semi-nobility, or start a buisiness empire.

The Kings personal bodyguard-Aveline the Fencer, very beautiful and very deadly-favors the man with a steady glance. She apparently likes what she sees, because the woman leans forward, and whispers in Karas ear. Her voice is smooth as silk.

"...Your target is Count Whitehaven. He spends most of his time on that ship of his-the Wrangling Quarrel.

You'll know the ship, it's the biggest one in port right now, It's what he uses to transport his property, and he's shopping."

She presses a small paper into your hands-a small portrait of the targets face.

Aveline seems to ponder something, then leans back in, grabbing Karas collar, and smiling. Her cold blue eyes twinkle with dark amusement.

"...The King says you're good...and, it's been awhile since I've had a decent match. Come back with your head, maybe I'll be waiting for you with more than just gold. But don't hold me to that. I'm fickle...and not easily pleased."

She settles back into the shadows, as mysterious as ever...her own motives, unknown even to the King.

Also, just finished up reading what happened, king. Request for you, don't forget to quote so it's easy to find who you're talking about or who you are responding to.

These walls of lore take time to sift through, and easy to miss when people are engaged in multiple actions.

Coordination in posts, it makes it easy to do.

The IC thread is beautifully organized from where I see it, easy to pick out individual plotlines.

Also, Kingfisher, know that a trait giving +1 to espionage rolls only benefits spy specialists. Players conduct espionage as an adventure where actual infiltration skills matter. Simply put, if you want to be a spymaster, keep it, if you want to be a master spy, get something like +1 to stealth rolls.

You might have to narrow that bonus down (stealth, disguise, sleight of hand and so on), but that is for Shoot or CG to decide, not me. That aside, your sheet seems fine. Remember that you get the business' revenue at the end of each season, not each year, so you should have some spending money shortly.
