GAME EVENT:
Cogs stood there motionless. Bjorn noticed this first, and tapped him on the shoulder. Cogs did not budge.

"Huh, what's wrong, Cogs?"

No reply. Puzzled, Bjorn decided to not get involved.

Tarran Terra-"So... who's going to peek though the door? I'd suggest someone silent or very, very resistant to getting their arses kicked."

Porin Keeperechoes-Porin, eager to start the new adventure, jumps off the horse as to avoid its hooves. Those terrible, terrible hooves. One of Porin's best friends was killed by a horse once. It happened during a raid on the Dwarven Capital of BoatKilled. Indeed, it was a tragic moment for all of the kobolds there.

Continuing onward, Porin sees the pathway, and decides immediately that he is up for the task.
"This job for Porin. Small, move quick, hide: Kobold specialty! Enchanted armor too. Best suited for task," he proclaims. Reluctantly, Tarran and the others all step aside, waiting for Porin to awkwardly walk up to the door after pressing s.

"Well, time to go in!"

Porin prods the door with his shield. It seems sturdy enough.
This take more effort, he thinks to himself.

Porin glances at the handle, but the slime immediately quenches the idea. There is know way he is going to touch that.

Finally, Porin decides to wedge the door open with his sword. As the reinforced wooden door creaks open, its handle falls off.
Opening the door reveals a stairway leading upward, with another doorway at the top. Slime covers the steps, and spider webs dot the ceiling. A stray orb weaver hangs in the doorway quite annoyingly.

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-Ivan goes ahead and hurls a plotmelon into the slime. It slides across the room, unaffected by friction, until it comes to a halt upon hitting the wall. It then turns over, and reveals that the surface that had touched the slime is now completely gone, with the juicy and succulent interior slowly dissolving away.

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-Meep meep.

'Jacen'-Jacen enthusiastically takes aim at the doorway, ready to open fire on whomever was to come out. In case of giant monsters, hopefully.

As soon as Porin wedges the door open, nothing comes out. Thus, Jacen becomes completely disappointed.

Bjorn Inmus-Bjorn too, prepared to attack. However, upon seeing the spider, Bjorn's friendly-fire reflexes immediately kick in, and he launches the melon.

The melon burns through the spider, creating a satisfying pop as the spider bursts and the stairway is engulfed in a ball of flame. Luckily, Porin's armor deflects all this, leaving him with nothing but a some slightly singed hair. Noticably, the slime that was previously on the stairway has now evaporated.

Porin took the lead, using his flaming sword as a torch so everyone could see where they were going.

Knock everyone out of the way and run to the stairs.

Just because. ;D

Be a speedbump in such a manner that when Tarran tries to knock me over, he trips instead and busts his mouth on the lowest stair, knocking all of his teeth out.

If that happens, make sure my sword lands on him. Blade end first.

Besides, it's not like you'll break your nose or something, right?

Hell, I'm bored too. I got nothing to do today/in one of those moods where I don't feel like doing anything today. :-\ Other than watch Deceased Crab play Startropics 2, anyway.
