Indeed. I could run one for both of mine today; I might in a few hours. When I'm done with this LP. I've been doing nothing but that for the past day or two since it's easier to watch him suffer through, say, Legacy of the Wizard than try to remember how to beat it myself, which I haven't done in about twenty years, so... yeah. ^^;

Then again, you also kinda suffer watching because when an LPer does something stupid and you notice it but you can't tell them because it's a recording... yeaaahhhh. :P

Yeah, that tends to happen too. But you can always skip ahead a little if they're taking TOO much time. ^^ Some LPers are nice enough to cut out load times, too, which is also a bonus.

Rolls:

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-Taric, rifle in hand, carefully sidesteps Porin into the tunnel. He proceeds to get shoved aside by Tarran, who throws everyone except Ivan and Bjorn out of the way and charges up the stairs.

Tarran Terra and Porin Keeperechoes-While charging up said stairs, he trips over Porin, not noticing him, and he falls over face-first into the first stair.Porin, trying to be helpful but really not, dives forward as well, his flaming sword drawn, and stands his sword up in Tarran's path as he falls. Tarran proceeds to land on the sword, but his steel armor prevents him from getting killed right away. However, of course, the sword is on fire. And thus is how Tarran now has a really nasty burn on his face.

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-Ivan, on the other hand, proceeds to walk over Tarran as the poor soldier clutches at his face, and marches up the stairs, opening the door. As he thrusts it open, he enters a narrow corridor walled with stone bricks and floored with smooth floors. As he turns around the corner past a lump of glowing fungus, he comes across a door, which he opens to view a large chamber. The center of the room contains a statue of a rather short yet stout individual holding a massive axe. The statue's depiction appears to be wearing an eyepatch, indicating that he lost an eye to something. But where?

There are three exits in the room, two of which are locked wooden doors, and the third is an open archway in the center. Ivan can see numerous supports hold up the now-dark arched hallway beyond the statue. Burnt candle bases line the walls, and the only light comes from glowing fungus on the ceiling and walls, creating an eerie feeling. Almost like something is trying to creep up on you guys. Speaking of which...

Bjorn Inmus-Immediately, Bjorn hears the door behind the group close. He looks back to see the entrance to the fort become a rapidly closing rectangle of light. It soon disappears, plunging the room into darkness.
The only light comes from the stairway. I suppose that's the best course of action now, considering there's nothing left to see in this room.

Bjorn can't help but notice a sound though. It sounds like something's contacting the floor... but there was nobody in here at the start. Just to be sure, Bjorn turns around to find nothing stalking him. With a sight of relief, he turns back to notice that the rest of the group has already gone up the stairs. More importantly, though, he sees a GIGANTIC spider standing directly in his path! It makes a faint chittering sound before lunging at Bjorn!

'Jacen'-Jacen followeth the group.

GAME NOTICE:

Due to lack of light, all players get a +1 to fear unless they are or are near a source of light brighter than fungus, such as Porin wielding his sword. All the candles have burned out by now, so it's unlikely at best that you'll find any light if this were a human construction, of course, this isn't. :P

Porin looked at Tarran and shrugged. Why was the human being lazy? Well, it was no business of his. He noted, however, that their group was one person short: the wizard. He turned around to go find him.

Kinda redacted those actions... but oh well. I'll attack the spider when I see it.

Trap the Spider in a super-heated sphere of rock, than run to the staircase.

Current Weather:
Indoors, Warm
Dimly Lit (+1 to fear)

Rolls:

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-Taric laughs. He then enters the room, recognizes the Dwarf statue, nods in respect to the fellow Dwarf, then steps ahead into the arched hallway. A massive spike nearly impales him, coming out of the floor below. Looking down, he notices pressure plates, organized in such a fashion that when a point-man steps on it, he tears apart his own squad with the traps behind. Good thing nobody was following Taric...

Tarran Terra-Tarran, deciding that his injuries are too much, throws himself to the ground and stays there. Nothing happens, except that a metal spikes immediately juts out of the floor two feet away from his own head. I'll deal with it later...

Porin Keeperechoes-Porin shrugs in response to Tarran's... umm... actions. Then, he realizes that the group is one person short! The wizard is missing. Porin scales the corridors back into the main entrance to find Porin cowering in front of a rather large dog-sized spider.

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-Ivan, noticing Taric's mistake, decides to check the two locked doors for traps.
He knocks on one, to be greeted by another knock in response almost immediately. Shocked, he staggers back, and bumps into the statue.

Bjorn Inmus-Upon seeing the spider, Bjorn is so overwhelmed with fear that he fails to realize that the spider is only dog sized, and that it only looked large because it was hanging in front of his face. He cowers on the ground before Porin enters the room.

The spider, now on Bjorn, starts to... purr? What's going on here?

The spider rubs against Bjorn, almost like a cat would to a human. It seems happy to see a face for once.

'Jacen'-Jacen followeth the group some more.

"Huh?" Porin said. "Wizard taming spiders?" Well, now he'd seen everything. There was no time to waste on such frivolities, however, and he motioned for Bjorn to follow him back to the group. Once there, he would try opening the door Ivan just had.
