Rolls:

Porin Keeperechoes-Upon seeing this monstrosity, Porin blinks.
Kobold not good against giant metal man...
Thinking quickly, Porin dives behind a bush and inches his way out of sight behind the hill.
I'll let them deal with it.

Tarran Terra-Shocked by the new appearance, Tarran follows suit with Porin and dives behind a rock.
"Bah, I'll let them deal with it," he mutters.

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-Ivan, also shocked by the appearance of a twelve story metal titan, takes off into the distance. Immediately, the giant shifts its aim toward Ivan, unbeknownst to him, but its cannons are not fully activated yet. Unaware, Ivan thinks to himself.
I'll let them deal with it.

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-Taric finally, with one great pull, yanks the arrow out. He examines the blood-soaked serrated tip, runs his finger along the edge and reels back in pain.
"This thing is bloody sharp," he thinks openly.
Then, he turns around. And turns around again, to his original position.
"I'll let them deal with it."

'Jacen'-Jacen springs into action.
"I could use some of those... bah what am I thinking! Heeeeeelp!" he cries as he drops his weapon, and drops on the ground, playing dead for all he is worth.
I'll let them deal with it.

Nihilius 'Cogs' Vekt-"Woah."
Cogs continues to himself.
"Far too dangerous.
I guess I'll let them deal with it then."

Bjorn Inmus-Bjorn stands alone in front of the mech, accompanied solely by a semi-dead-looking Jacen.
"Really guys? You cowards!"
Bjorn turns to face the mech, which is unaware of his existence. He walks up to it, kicks it in the foot, then flinches as the contraption walks away and stares at him. The second the first shot is supposed to fire, however, Bjorn shouts, and the entire mech disappears.

In the distance, Bjorn squints to see the mech now located where the village was supposed to be.
Well...
I'll let them deal with it!

Wow, most useless roll is RTD history.
Seeing that it is turning dusk, find a stick and turn it into a torch.

(5) You manage to struggle free of the guards and sprint to a safe distance before tossing a knife at one! (5 + 1 = 6) The throwing knife zips through the air, slitting a guard's throat! It then travels around the group of guards like a boomerang. It (5) Slits another throat, (Three 6's in a row!) decapitates three more (!), (4) slices open the last guard's arm, and (2) narrowly misses a random bystander. It then flies back into your hand. Holy crap.

Pffffffftt. I'll let you deal with my action.

...

Pop up and look around bewildered, then get back on my horse and continue on.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Porin jumped from a rock outcropping back onto Tarran's horse. He was too small to get onto it normally.

Alright. It's kind of a shame since I couldn't roll. Last chance for Mekboy to post, otherwise I'll roll later today.

Roll 48: A Bit Late

Item Values

Spoiler: Precious Metals (click to show/hide)

Current Weather:
Night, Very Cold
Cloudy

Rolls:

Porin Keeperechoes-Porin, realizing that he can't get onto Tarran's horse normally, jumps onto it. It freaks out, kicking wildly at Tarran, but he dodges it.

Tarran Terra-After his look of bewilderment is interrupted by said horse, Tarran mounts and continues onward.

Ivan 'Sir Fiddle' Fiddlebottom-Ivan follows the group along the path, humming some distinct tune that he doesn't know exists.

Taric 'Madman' Cogudib-Before mounting and leaving, Taric takes a moment to bandage his wounds, which are now bleeding profusely from the wounds. The pain remains, but the bleeding is now under control.

'Jacen'-Jacen, foreshadowing the events to come, lights up a torch with a mach and a random stick he finds lying around.

Nihilius 'Cogs' Vekt-Mekboy, you there?

Bjorn Inmus-Bjorn looks for a stick, and manages to secure a small twig into his possession.

GAME EVENT:

As the group nears the mountain, Tarran, the leader--or maybe just the smartest person--of the group, scans the surface for a possible mountain pass. He finds none.
"Just how are we supposed to get through here!" he asks, rhetorically.
"Look!" replies Bjorn.

Bjorn points to a hole in the mountain with a rail leading out of it. Various wooden constructions are present, as well as some other systems for loading cargo onto carts. In fact, some of the cranes seem to be for lifting objects further up the mountain...

Above the mine entrance, the group notices a series of massive metal constructions jutting from the cliff-side. Exposed gears and smokestacks make it evident that someone intelligent lives--or used to live-- here. The gears do not move, indicating that the place was abandoned a long time ago. A winding path up the mountain leads to a reinforced door allowing entry.

"Well, it's either the mine or the installation. We'll have to decide!" shouts Jacen.

"Installation," Porin agreed. "Dwarves dig too deep, sometimes. Heard story from Schleekus. Terrible things and pretty metals down there..." he said, eyeing the entrance to the mines.
