That's what you get for sticking your head into strange rifts.

Norrec uses the distraction to break free and leap into the portal after Urist. It flickers and closes almost immediately afterward. It either timed out, reached a preset limit, or ran out of power.

Apparently having a redundant creature entry causes the game to say, "Oh, look, it's crazy world now. Nothing makes sense! Alligators live in houses!"

So erm, can I see Urist anywhere?

You'll be conducting your adventure via PMs.

Anything of note?

Either they're being attacked by a giant ant army through a PM adventure kind of thing, or Nirur is just trying to makes us think they are in danger for some reason.

I'll tell you what he didn't do.

He used all the spare supplies to upgrade Sandow's Golem into an unstoppable war machine with giant drill-fists, back-mounted ballista and crossbow-shooting eyes, which then turned on the camp when he forgot to put in an off-switch.

It was for, y'know, killing Goblins.

((... I TOLD YOU TO IGNORE THE FUCKING GOLEM!  I FUCKING TOLD YOU!!!  The guy who owns it ONLY WANTED IT TO BE AN ANARCHISTIC WASTELAND OF A FORTRESS!  *sigh* I get the feeling my character is the only one with sense sometimes.))

Edit:  ((I would also like to point out, swords and a strong military kill goblins too, rather effectively might I add when properly trained.))

"By Akil. They're doomed."

Turn to the others.

"We'd best be getting back. There's no knowing when they come back, if at all. And there's no guarantee that they won't lead those...aberrations...to us. We need to prepare for the worst."

Uh...Shade-o...what?

Norrec, that's what he didn't do.

You must learn to read Shade-o's posts more carefully, for he is a trickster God who will attempt to mislead you at every opportunity.

or by the italicized "didn't" he really meant did and is being sarcastic, thus letting us know what is going on.  ((I'd also believe it, because Nirur's character is so one-dimensional it's easier to manipulate him with goblin slaughter than a fat kid with a piece of cake, at least that's what his character has looked like to me so far))

I'll tell you where Norrec isn't.

Not Hell.

Eh, I'm sure Norrec's character will be fine. Eventually. Even if we have to revive her again after sending in three expeditions of redshirts to retrieve her soul.

Heh heh, so true. Pity I don't know how to make a believable zealot character, but at least I try to avoid using OOC info.

What, nothing about me? Well I'll say this. Hell would be an improvement.
