I first used Imic as my Minecraft account back when Minecraft was new and in some ways obscure name though I’m not sure how I came up with it. I use it pretty much everywhere online to the point where it might as well be an extra name, though I still get annoyed that people sometimes pronounce it ‘Eye-mick’ and not ‘Immick’.

I used to use more varied names, but I tend to prefer Enemy post now. I'm a bit inconsistent on whether the "post" should be capitalized.

I was messing around in Garry's Mod one day (back before 9 even, I think) and had installed a model pack from Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. Messing around with one of the goblin models, I fumbled across the facial expression sliders and discovered that the model had certain violent reactions to things like the smiling variables, and could therefore be very easily and quickly morphed into an expression of utterly psychotic glee. I was immediately charmed, and began using the moniker "CrazyGoblin" in all my games.

Some time later when playing Zombie Master, I met a player that I ended up adding as a friend and he told me about Dwarf Fortress. Eventually he convinced me to try the game out and then come here and register a profile on the boards.

Wanting to go for sort of a similar thread, I tried figuring out how to write "CrazyGoblin" in dwarfish. However, at the time, there were no words for any of the races... So I settled on just using the Goblin word for "Crazy". Kagus.


And it's been that way ever since... Uh... Whenever the fuck it was I registered. 2007, supposedly. I felt that Kagus was a bit more eloquently succinct than CrazyGoblin, so I've been using it for new profile names instead. Besides, this forum is pretty much my home base anyways, so this is where I felt things should connect to.

Huh, I googled my username and found out that a couple of comments I made on reddit got harvested for use in 2 of those "30 Outrageous stories list, number 17 will shock you!" non-articles. I'm kinda flattered?
