I'm not sure if Ulf would want to settle down like that, he's pretty set on mercenary work until he can't anymore, but maybe something will change that, we'll see.

Considering that Rorakar's goal is to learn more about the world, settling for too long in one place seems like a bad idea, even though he could live for another 150 years.

Still, I also don't like the idea of giving an artifact like that to someone who would hire mercenaries like us.

Gelb the goblin enters the room just after you have finished your discussion on what to do. He is followed by a female goblin and a small child.

Gelb: Oh thank you! I see you have killed Her and set us free! We have little in the way of treasure to thank you with but will you come back to our village so we can properly thank you? We would have you as our guests of honor.

"Actually, I was thinking you might want to move in here.  It's not a bad place.  A little dark, but as you can see there are good mines and the structure's all set up.  And, if you're interested, I am pretty sure I can get you a good trade agreement with Stormhold."

Gleb: “I… I don’t think we will be staying here” He says with a frown on his face “This temple is sacred to the lizard men and I for one do not wish to be here when they find out you killed all the priests. Not to mention we have a tribe to get back to, some of us have been held here for over a year, we need to see our families. As for your offer of trade, it is not much of something we desire, we need nothing from the town of strangers and we have nothing to offer them.”

6d8 actually (still only once per day though, but just wait until 6th). Also, do you think you could boost the save DC for it? It's permanently stuck at 14 if you don't, which is rather useless at higher levels. Make it scale with my level or something please. The reflex is set to 10 + con mod + 1/2 racial HD, and I don't get racial HD. If you could change it to 1/2 total HD, that'd be nice. Although, the one that makes me burn spells is 10 + cha or con mod (I forget which, but they're both 4) + level of spell (and deals 2d6 per spell level).

Barrrrrrrrbarosa. Have you decided to go with 'climb speed is for chumps' pet or 'I hear the wisdom of father fish' replacement?

As for the increasing the save I need to think on it.

I have thought on it, I will give a temporary yes so I can see how it effects game balance.
