I have a breath weapon, so I think I count :P

Of course, when that breath weapon has the potential to one-shot everyone except the tank...

Wasn't there some dude who was making a healer-type, though? At the moment the party members seem to be...

Ulf Son-of-Bear, Barbarian
Rorakar, Ranger
Glacius, Sorceror
Merrian, Rogue-thing.

Arman Woyan the Wise.
You still haven't answered my question :(

Criptfiend, can I use the reducing level adjustment variant once I get to a higher level?

No. Sorry.
Why not? :(

Sorry, I missed it. Because I don't feel that it is quite fair to introduce new rules. I made a judgment call here and I am going to stick to it.

It's a rule that only affects me, so I'm the only one that has to deal with it. Basically all I'm doing is paying a level's worth of XP to go down a level, decreasing my ECL, but staying at the same class level. Level adjustment really hurts in the long run, especially for casters.

Once I reach 12th ECL, I will have my 9th class level. I can then pay 11,000 XP in order to decrease my ECL to 11th, but keeping my class levels the same. It essentially adds a greater leveling curve for me, but I'm actually able to get to higher class levels.

A better explanation is on pg 18 of Unearthed Arcana.

I've always seen that melee characters usually try to max out their size, but this is the first party I've ever seen where...

*The Cleric, Rogue, AND Sorcerer weigh 200+ pounds and are upwards of six feet tall.
*In addition, the Sorcerer has the most constitution.
*The Fighter (although I guess cleric, as well) has the most wisdom.
*Nobody is evil
*The Sorcerer has the most weapons (actually tied with me, if you don't count duplicates.)
*The Cleric isn't wearing the heaviest armor money can buy (nor does it have the highest AC).

But I digress. I'm almost done with my backstory, so now I get to explain what a frog person is doing with a bunch of beefcake lunatics.

I'm not a lunatic, I'm generally rejected from all society, but not a lunatic! And being over six feet tall is kind of a result of being half dragon.

Also, I'm going to have 18 strength at 5th level, when I'm planning to take my final draconic racial level, which will put me at more strength than the barbarian. Though I doubt that I will, seeing as 4th level means an ability score increase.

Oh, Criptfiend, will I be allowed to take the Improved Speed monstrous feat at some point? It requires the dragon type (ha!) and gives me +20 fly speed and +10 other speeds (which is really only my land speed). I really have no way to increase my fly speed without magic items or something like that otherwise.

As far as frog backstory goes, there's a Wyrmsfang Jungle on Argonnessen as seen here (I'm from Seren). Maybe I rescued the frog-thing from some jungle beast or something?

Ooh, if dragonblood makes you a 'Magical Beast', you could take the Arachnoid template, that one gives you +4 limbs.

Dragonblood doesn't make me a magical beast. I'm still a humanoid until I take the final draconic racial level, when I'll be a dragon.

Edit: This is the ultimate cheese in RotD:
Quote from: Races of the Dragon page 4
Dragons automatically qualify for any classes, prestige classes, racial substitution levels, feats, powers, or spells that require the dragonblood subtype.
I automatically qualify for anything that has dragonblood as a prerequisite! Or at least I will, once I get the dragon type. It isn't much, but for a cleric, they could technically go straight into Singer of Concordance as a half-dragon :P

*Nobody is evil

This most likely make my job easier.

Oh, I am sorry, do you wish help with that if you do not have the book? I can give locations and facts.

I know how it works and why you want it. I am still going to say no.

Yes but then he would turn undead because his his CL would be like -2. Also Dragon does not equal magical beast. (Nor does dragon blooded)

As for the feat I will give a tentative yes because I remember a rule somewhere that says dragon blooded qualify as dragons for prerequisites. (I seem to be wrong, oh well.)

Prestige classes for dragons are going to be heavily looked over and scrutinized though so if you plan on any tell me now because I will most likely say no.

Oh there it is. I am typing wayyy to slow. Any who yes you can take it.

Oh and another thing, because we don't have the normal gods if you guys take things like sword of whats his face don't worry because we can fix the flavor.

Or anything, not just god flavor... most things that is.

I'm not actually planning to take Improved Speed until later, when I actually get the dragon type.

I'm planning to take the Dragonheart Mage PrC from RotD.

And why can't I reduce my LA later? Are you going to give me an actual reason or just go "My word is law" on me? :P

Oh well then. Good.

[Bureaucrat]Approved[/Bureaucrat] You going to be spewing Ice all day. I like.

I am going to go to sleep now. When I wake up I am going to rethink my decision. It boils down to I don't want to add a new rule to the game for the sole purpose of making one player stronger.

So basically, everything about my character is fine so far except that. Though you haven't said anything about retraining feats yet. Dragonheart Mage gives me quite a few bonus Draconic feats, and I don't want to have to get stuck with something. Particularly, once I take the 1st level of DHM, I get Draconic Breath for free. I already have it, so I want to be able to retrain it for something else, I'm thinking Improved Speed, but maybe something else. I might want to retrain Draconic Toughness as well eventually, don't know what though.

Also, at 12th level (9th class level), I think I'm going to take Obtain Familiar to finally get a familiar, but I'll hold off on actually gaining one until I get Dragon Familiar at 15th (12th class level) :)

(You can really see how the LA hurts me at high levels, this is why monsters with LA are rarely used as casters.)
