I seem to be coming down with pneumonia, and I've been working super late anyway in the run-up to a big deadline.  Left work and sprinted fifteen minutes in the cold and rain to catch the bus (not bright anyway in my health), expecting to be five minutes early.  Got there twenty seconds late.  Next bus is in an hour.  I'm still dressed for running.

The actual temperature had better be appropriately cold for that statement Sowelu, because if you feel colder than it actually is you need to see a doctor. As in immediately. Pneumonia still kills people rather effectively.

I kind of feel a little like Sowelu but under different circumstances; more that I'm putting myself at risk for pneumonia. I still have a cough from a cold I had a week ago now, and between fifty different things, I'm only getting about 3-4 hours of sleep each night, and the temperature has been going down lately...

I unplugged it. It still managed to beep once after it came away from the cord, but eh. Get this, thoug: I was supposed to turn it off prior to unplugging it, but there's no power button. Who designs these things, anyways?

Depending on your system you should be able to turn it off from the BIOS.
