I bicycled to school today because it didn't look like the weather was too bad. About halfway through the ride, the sky went through a serious tantrum an proceede to pelt me with ludicrous amounts of rain and hail, all of it driven more or less horizontally into me by a high wind going the direction opposite where I needed to be going. It's a good thing that ten minutes worth of road is broad, flat, and empty of people on cloudy days, because even keeping my eyes open enough to navigate was a challenge with that amount of shit falling down.

All this on 3 hours sleep. Faaak.

Yes and yes.

Also, I just had the privilege of having a nice argument with my parents about how I supposedly need to get off my ass and start doing more to prepare to college, since that's not what I've been doing for the past fucking month or anything like that. I attempted to notify them that I was already doing this and had been for quite some time, which prompted an extremely relevant and not at all incoherent counter-argument about how all I ever do is play videogames (okay) and how I don't have any friends or some stupid bullshit like that.

I'm honestly sick and fucking tired of this, at first it was just my parents refusing to ever give me any sort of encouragement or positive reinforcement whatsoever, but it's as if the second after I realized that they decided to actively try and make me feel like shit for no reason in particular and I've been needing to deal with it at random intervals ever since.

It can help.

In my experience it rarely does anything.

My computer at home is getting serious overheating problems. Cannot even boot up properly anymore.
I suspect I might have to get an entirely new cpu, if not motherboard.
I should just get the thing hauled over to the local computer store/repair place.
Problem is that it is Friday.. This weekend will be a long one.. Not to mention the big hole left in my wallet afterwards.

I guess my siblings will just have to settle for cheap Christmas presents this year.

Thanks. Sleeping helped a lot, and as usual, the reflux went back to its lair after a while. That was yesterday though, today i am also sleep deprived because people with jetlag were making noise at night. Admittedly they're apologetic about it, and well, it's not their fault that this corridor is a giant fucking sound tract that can carry regular conversation way further than it ever should be able to travel on its own. My kingdom for better sound proofing in this room. >.>
