I...um, think you're really misreading the context, Yoink. Or the wording. It was more something about this.
Which is what my post was referring to. A stand for faith..and...

E: Wording is sloppy. What I meant is something going both ways--people who feel affected despite (seemingly?) no action being taken (though, it does affect as a trigger, the level of response is also into question...). Not that standing for faith is wrong, but how it proceeds and how it is taken...etc etc.
Though this wouldn't happen largely first, if there wasn't deep stigma in the first place (total misinterpretations do not judge who they attach to)

It's not like it was the government that bailed them out. Even though they probably don't really deserve to still have a business it was just, you know, random people who decided their business should still exist.

Yeah...I don't really think you can argue that boycotts are legitimate but anti-boycotts aren't. If people want to bail out the pizzeria, let them. It's not taxpayer money, so who cares?
