My buddy's bike got stolen out of my front yard. His $700 bike.

Passive-Aggressive roommate sending me annoying texts again.
It's like all effort I ever had for basic compassion just drains straight out of me.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

Aw no. :(
I would have thought people with expensive bikes never let them out of their sight... that sucks.

I don't know if we still remember that time I kept punching metal until my knuckles bled, but I sure do!

Remember it? I have it on video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cufQD5Y31ZA

Good Friday again; I should have gone to church but didn't. Last year I went on Good Friday but not on Easter; I suppose I believe in sin but not in salvation...

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

The internet is cutting out quite a bit; I'm only having internet for 30 seconds at most before it goes away again. It'll probably go away as I'm typing this post, dammit. Sorry if I end up double-posting because of connection weirdness.

I did almost literally nothing except for browse the internet in a haze of boredom today. I had to do a paper, I think. It's due in a few days and I had nothing to do today so I could've used the time to get a lot done on it, if I were capable of doing assignments at home.
Did I even eat today? I don't know if I did.

I did almost literally nothing except for browse the internet in a haze of boredom today.

I've been doing this way too much lately. It hasn't been affecting my school stuff, but I feel like I've been using my free time really poorly. I should be reading or playing some new video games, but I've spent at most an hour or so in the past week doing that.
We should form a self-help group or something.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/indiana-pizzeria-owners-said-theyd-131425798.html

The internet gave these guys over half a million dollars? For being bigoted and hating gays? Really?

Wow, doctors and nurses and lawyers and lots of people have to serve pretty much everybody. A nurse can't refuse to provide medical treatment because somebody is a neo nazi with a swastika tattooed on their forehead and shouting obscenities, even though their conscience is screaming against everything that person is.

If a nurse has to treat bigoted neo nazis, then they should serve pizza to gay people.

And then of course there's Sharia Law....

Yes that "religious freedom" bill applies to all religions and one of the things many conservatives don't like is the idea of "Sharia Law." This is Muslim religious law, basically. Why yes, that's a shriek of terror you're hearing from conservatives who secretly intended this law to only help conservative Christians like themselves. Once again, it seems there's that pervasive mistake that Christianity is the one and only true religion out there that matters, which is extremely offensive to all the other religions.

There is a reason we actually had separation of church and state, because when you try to enshrine religion in law, the question becomes "which religion?" Everybody's hand immediately shoots up as they all say "mine." The whole thing is absurd and has a lot of consequences they didn't think through. I hope you don't like eating beef or any sort of cow meat if your boss happens to be Hindu, because that's where the literal term "sacred cow" comes from. Same with pork and shellfish and alcohol (because prohibition worked so well...) in many religions. It just opens an entirely huge can of worms and there's a reason we didn't do this stuff before. It didn't work then and it won't work now.

What's that? That's not what they intended this to be about? Well then maybe it really was meant to basically be an anti gay bill after all and that's a bad thing.
