Hey guys what's going on in this thread--

I'm sorry everyone.
Goodbye.

OH SHIT

Quote from: kal's sig
Kaladin Anrizlokum was a cinnamon demon. It was the only one of its kind. A female human twisted into male form. It smelled like a briny ocean, with a hint of cinnamon. Its beautiful eyes glowed blue. Beware its hidden nature!

AH SHIT HELLS NAH INSERT A VARIETY OF OBSCENITIES HERE EXPRESSING SHOCK AND DISBELIEF

Guys it's entirely possible that their attempt didn't work, depending on the method. There's statistics about this. There's some possibility. Maybe. hopefully.

Um. Shit. uh. Spam Kal's inbox and email with messages? Maybe that wouldn't help. Maybe they wouldn't check. Or be able to check.

Shit man I don't know what to do aaaaah.

This. Not sure what's happened thus far, but we hope she is okay.

The less we need to be reminded of this the better, in my opinion. Suffering only begets more suffering.

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

I've been worried all day about Kal.  :'(
I hope she's okay...
I'm sorry... :'(
But I'm back! I wouldn't say I'm okay, but... :-\

And... Thanks. Thanks for caring.
It's more than anyone in meatspace does...
My family cares more about the fact that I have snow-fever then that I attempted suicide last night.

(I get sick whenever it snows... Feverish, Hurts to breathe or swallow, I can't yawn, I feel like vomiting, and I start getting white blood cells in my spit. Fun!
I guess it's because demons like me aren't meant for cold weather.)

You're not dead! I hope you stay that way for many decades, at least.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I think the best way I can indicate I care is to mention how relieved I am right now.

And that I want to slap your family right now. Possibly with a baseball bat.

I'm gonna be brutally honest here; Relying on us as the constant source of necessary affirmation needed to prevent you committing suicide is not healthy or sustainable. Get help, see a psych.
Even if you can't leave the house there is a ton of helplines and chat rooms which are accessible from the exact same browser you're using to read this.
Get help. Permanent help. It's the only way you're going to survive.

Go to others. You do kinda have to shop around, so to speak.

If you're suicidal, you really need help - you have something going rather wrong in your body chemistry. Have you ever been on antidepressants?

Yo. I still want you to talk to me, k? As someone who has also attempted suicide, I want to help, and I'm not going to preach at you about how bad it is, because that's pretty much the worst thing to do.

Yeah, as many of us here can attest, you often need to try at least a handful before you manage to get one that fits what you really need, sadly. :-\
