Holy Christ what happened to Kal this morning!? I hope (s)he's alright, whatever ended up happening.

Well, so much for me deluding myself into thinking I can ever help.
Lad, you did help. :) This takes time and effort to develop.
Believe me, I didn't know how to speak in public at all and was like a frozen popsicle o___o
But you aren't deluding yourself that you can ever help. Do not give way to those thoughts which bring you down--or you'll believe them if they're repeated enough.
The same can be said if you append 'I'm failure' to everything you do, when you perceive even a sliiight bit of 'D:' there. Best thing to do, is to note what you think makes you a 'failure', check what is done, then move on--not letting that label stick on ya.
You are not deluding yourself that you can -ever- help. Even a kind word, alone, like a Sorry or an 'I'm here for ya. Sorry if my words dont convey it right or stuff, but I care' makes a ton of a difference.

I mean, y'all did that to me before, and I'm thankful.

I keep my PM box open and have been talking to Kal ever since. She's pretty much thankful for y'all and stuff.

Only thing that I've not gotten a response since...err, back then (March 16~ish)

How is that a sad?

It's because some piece of me has lost an ability to cope with, among other things, the sheer number of suicides among children in this suffering generation. I'll get my math PhD while running side projects, and then I'm going to full-time it.
We can change the future, Vec.
*high-five to you~*
We just have to act, instead of...not..acting.
And then improve that way!

Also, full support to you and your ability to delve into the mysterious science of math and its ability to branch out into generally everything--given the diversity of the mind, its not impossible at all. Just...labyrinthian.
And you've got the spool of yarn to do it! :D

As disappointed as I am that there will be no further beard wizards, writing is also a noble pursuit.
If Vector 's not going to make any more beard wizards, I feel like we owe it to the world to do something with the concept, because it was awesome. Beard Wizards may be my favorite non-existent anime.

... Honestly, I am shocked that everyone's so passionate about the woman I randomly scribbled facial hair on. Maybe I will keep drawing ._.
Is art. Ya silly :P
Is original art done in a nice way that isn't anyway bad! So it attracts many ":D"!
Keep drawing! :))

So many give up at the feet of mountains, not knowing even what lies beyond.  The hell may be real, but the mountain is still climbable, and other extreme options are more viable than the final, most extreme one.

I think this is a good time to link this, which applies to many young people.
