I actually came into the thread just now to look/ask for any developments on your situation, Kal.
This.

So much all this.

Also so much all this on the subject of finding help that actually works, and possibly slapping priests.

Hurrah for Kal!

Also, in sad news: end of spring break is a terrible time to come down with the cold from hell. I had a nosebleed so bad this morning it took five minutes to stop and made my bathroom sink look like I had been sacrificing rodents to Satan on it.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I can't speak for her but, to me, that is a highly inappropriate and personal question.

Thankfully the question wasn't addressed to you, then. ;)

It is a tad insensitive, but all that has to be done if Kal finds it so is for her to not reply, or to reply saying she doesn't want to reply.  :P

Oromis... the golden dragon?
Hm. Maybe I'll reread those books soon. Been quite a while.

Also, Kal, yea. I'd say the Leader just freaked at some unique trait of yours. There's nothing the clergy likes less than lack of conformity.

I think Dwarfy hit the nail on the head. I for one never minded talking about it - apparently it varies wildly from person to person.

Really glad you're ok Kal, this isn't a large community to begin with so losing anyone is horrible. Us dorfs gotta stick together.

And now for some actual sads (it's really funny how the sad thread derailed into happies), well, they're not really sads, I can't quite define them. I could, but I don't want to go there because it would mean admitting to certain thoughts and emotions that I really don't want to acknowledge right now, or ever really. Plus I'm kinda tired and really don't feel like arguing with myself over this stuff, it should pass by the morning, hopefully, just gotta count on not getting a nightmare like last time which only makes it worse.

Hey, a great artist like you could look into the heart of a nightmare and throw it at a page to remain for posterity.

Or, you know, just have a pleasant dream you forget on waking  :P
