Kal's female - that's a plus here: Women tend to choose less violent methods and thus survive more often. And if she did survive, there's a higher chance there won't be any lasting physical damage. If she did choose a less-violent method, that is.

Just found out my ex-GF could be dying due to heart problems she's had her whole life. Her heart problems apparently caused liver failure somehow, so she had a liver transplant, but now her heart isn't looking good and doctors have said she doesn't have much time left. Not feeling too good.
