... There's an ignore list?
There's an ignore list? Where would such a treasure be found, pray tell?

Go Profile -> Buddies/Ignore List -> Edit Ignore List and you'll be able to enter the name of people you want to ignore.

I'm just saying it's hard to go into a topic without things turning into consolised this or devs that or indie this or drm that.

And then there's the embarrassing gamers rights topic.

Also. Ignore list can be accessed in your profile. Hover over modify profile and then move down to buddy's and ignore list and pick ignore list. You simply type the name of the person you wish to add and click. It will auto hide their posts and prevent them from sending you PMs.

I hope that I am not on anyone's ignore list. That would make me sad.

Eh, I don't really like ignoring people.  On a forum, it leads to you missing out on stuff and wondering what the heck is going on in threads.  Not to mention it could be problematic if we ended up playing in the same game...

Me too. I don't want anyone to be on any ignore list. I think it's important that we all learn all live together in perfect, grumbling, passive aggressive harmony instead.

Ninja'd, but I don't care.

Started compiling the 2.6.37 kernel and ran out of space after about an hour and a half. :-\

Sigh... My laptop is on the fritz, and I'm almost 100% sure it's all because the manufactures were too cheap to use decent plastics....

It's pretty bad too. I can't even turn it on....

In other news. Other games still sucks. That's it, I'm done popping in there just to see indie elitist wankery or idiots.

At least you can usually tell from the title or the first couple posts how it's gonna go down.  I still check anything that sounds interesting, and can easily tell if the Wrecking Crew will drop in.  Of course, any game thread is good territory for Ioric to make an awkward transition into explaining in two to five paragraphs why Oblivion still sucks, but whatever.  Other Games got me to play Covert Action again, and that was worth it.

I don't and won't use the Ignore function myself, mainly because I don't want to drop into a thread and not know what the Hell people are talking about because I can't see something.  I relish the idea that somebody might be blocking me though; I will have finally reached the event horizon of insufferability.

Really, MMenace, when you answer someone on the previous page you should use quotations.

Really, MMenace, when you answer someone on the previous page you should use quotations.

Before making a statement like that, there are two things you could consider.  A) That MM didn't count how many replies were on the page, and so didn't know it would start a new page.  And B) She might have her posts-per-page set different.  It's not the top of the page for me.  And even if it was, if you want to know what she was replying to is it that great an imposition to click one page back?

I know this sounds like I'm coming down heavy, but really, that's such a weird and picky comment I couldn't ignore it.

I hate posts that like to wave around their per page bullshit.
