That is a major issue though Supernerd. Since by the time they used the card we've given, we have no time to give them a new one. Which pushes card gifting to once per two turns at best. That and us giving them out directly takes it off you so long as we gods and the tribes keep track of their turns.
A good example would be...
New Day. Supernerd passes out cards to gods and tribes. Tribe turn starts and ends. Gods have a limited time to give out cards to be available for next turn. (Lets assume they manage to do so, somehow) Which then occurs. God needs new hand, so asks for a new hand. Which is given out at the same time as the tribes receive new hands. The time crunch repeats.
If you fail the time crunch, Supernerd eventually goes offline. Meaning that you can't pass out cards from your hand. (As the Tribe's turn has ended, they would receive the card during the turn after.) It puts a huge pressure on gods to always be active at the same time every day, or forever be at a disadvantage? Or at least result in tribes needing to be slower if they want full assistance?
Try this again when I'm ready for bedtime. Umm..
Right. I wake up with a new hand. Tribes have made their turn end. So, I give them out. Tribes get a new turn without support. I likely get a new hand. Which I can't actually gift at the moment cause the old cards aren't given yet. So, I have to wait for them to post their turn, and then give them out. But here is an issue, won't giving out two cards influence decision-making?
And that doesn't involve tribes who post after I've gone to bed. They've had a turn without support, a turn with support, and a turn without support.
And another turn without support. As I'm in bed, I can't actually pass out cards in time, so they are locked to receiving 1 card per 3 turns.
Moving to the first example. Eventually I go to bed. If the tribes are still going, they won't receive support. Resulting in 1 card per 2 turn situation, at least. And this completely disregards the tribes who can go back to playing back when the gods didn't exist. Cause we really aren't able to interact in any sane timescale...
Not to mention completely screwing over any sense of time I have. I get a headache just thinking about it. I can't look at the thread timestamps and see "oh, they've moved. I can give them a new card." Instead I have to check if this is the turn they used the card I gave, then give them one which will be used the turn after.
... Excuse my rambling Supernerd, but it's actually impossible to gift more than 1 card per two turns under this ruling. As we'd need to be mind readers and know a player has received their cards before they even post their turn. By the time we have notification of such in thread, the opportunity has usually passed. So the time crunch is illusionary, there isn't any time. (Assuming they haven't already received their hand for the next turn, pushing it back further and making it more confusing to keep track of.)
This has been 9 PM TricMagic with no clue how to keep up. Other than to not play the game I've been playing and not bother passing out cards quickly. Just randomly do it during the day instead with no reasoning and save myself the headaches.
