"Deep Waters"
Part 1: Coordinates
Raptor begins final boarding for liftoff. The rookie takes a seat in the cockpit for the second time and the ex-pilot puts a reassuring hoof on their shoulder. Raptor bursts through the same hangar door that was just repaired. The zebra person looks ahead stiffly.
After leaving the planet and surrounding congestion, the crew begins preparations for jump. After a tap on the shoulder the rookie unbuckles and floats off as the ex-pilot straps in. The ship begins to hum.
"Floating calculations of Schrödinger particles for a short jump..." The sound is getting louder.
"...Ambient Momentum a sync..." Louder.
"...Energy envelope engaged." Louder. "Raptor locational variable..."In a flash of light, the view of Dosophus 2770B changes to that of a distant asteroid field.
"...changed."Silence.
"Beginning scans." A 'bloop' repeats every few seconds. .. ... ... ...

The Captain and the Rookie are not at any battle station.- Left Turret and Torpedo positions are vacant.
- Both crew members are in the cockpit segment of the ship.

L ]
Left Turret is vacant.- [Fire Turret:] Turrets can target specific ship rooms at short range and cannot hit at long range. They can target other objects like incoming torpedoes.

C ]
The Ex-Pilot is at the Cockpit.- [Change Distance:] The ship continues to move while someone is at this position. Can go to either Short, Medium, or Long Range. Scans improve the closer they are.
- [Comms:] Can talk to the enemy ship.

M ]
The Doctor is at Medical.- [Advanced Revive:] While you are here you can revive others for free. List a path of rooms to your patient without a hazard(except the one they are in) to do so.

The Enforcer is at the Storage.- [Eject Cargo:] Supplies can be ejected 1 per turn to lighten the ship and improve initiative(initv). 6 left.

Torpedo Bay is vacant.- [Fire Torpedo/es:] Launch 1 or 2 torpedoes at the enemy ship. Slow moving but persistent. 2 left.

New Stuff
Battle Station CommandThere will now be a way to command players that are AFK during a ship-based crisis. You can command others to
switch or use the battle stations and they will do it unless they choose to do something else or an order is given by someone with higher rank. (Captain can adjust ranks)
Ship Initiative (Initv)
The ship with higher initiative goes first. If the values change and the slower ship becomes faster, it will take a second turn.
GM Notes
1)
Success Experience: Failure is the greatest teacher...but I've decided failing a task wont award the Rookie experience. It seems odd to promote someone that only failed, for instance. And have them instantly be perfect. So experience will only be recognized with successful actions. With no accidents.
These are the odds of success:
+1 per experience point
+3 for mentor
+2 for ai
+1 for alone
Each point adds [15%] success rate, for a maximum of [90%] success with 3 experience and a mentor.

Star Counter: I'll track total actions again for credit placement(★), to reflect audience POV of who the "main characters" were for the episode. Secret actions that resolve in secret will not be counted. Ties will now be broken by rank.

Role Revisions: The Role refinements as seen in the PMs have been reflected in the public game information section.

~Midnight PST Friday. After 48 hours the captain can post
HAMMER in bold red to end the turn immediately, then no new actions can be accepted. If the episode gets considerably ahead of schedule, then extending the mission may have reduced supply cost.
