"From what I've been told, the Union hasn't been able to get much done as of late. Sloane and Miyajima noted releasing budgets, requesting funds, and booking spaces as examples of what they've been unable to get done thanks to your arguments putting a stop to them. Apparently it's gotten so bad that the student body has begun spreading rumors regarding said arguments. Only recently however, seeing as they've just reached my ears today."

Using her last bit of AP, Reeve hits up the Alchemic Laboratories, whipping up a +15 Hit potion for herself.

Mus'ad nods and with a final farewell, leaves the greenhouse.
Mus'ad nods, taking a bite as he thinks. He swallows and then speaks.
"I haven't actually looked much at the societies here, what ones are you interested in joining?"

Mordecai looked up in surprise from his workout.

: "My...form? I don't follow."

"W-wait? Arguments? You got this all wrong! We're not arguing. At least....I'm pretty sure we weren't."
"Is that what you think those were? Some game, Harvey?"
"D-don't get prideful on me, Kuriyama! It was YOUR birthday, you should've had the first bite!"

"Well, there was the Light Music Club....uh, Freddie's running Jazz Society, Isabella's got the Literature Club going, and of course there was the Gaming Club that Nicholas and Tobias are in. Always really wanted to try out Labryinths and Lamias. It sounds like fun, even if I don't really get how you play it."

Arnett simply muttered a thanks to the Cowen brothers as he took his staff. Though Arnett had chosen to mind his own business, it was evident that that was not the choice Vicky was going to make herself. He was unsuspecting until he heard the sound of those familiar, almost somewhat grating boots crashing on the floor. He turned around, hoping that she wasn't going to do something that caused him any sort of physical harm— too late. Pain shot through his body, and a wince as he was unable to return the favor.

"S-stop, I just... wanted... staff... why... choking..."


While cleaning the stables, Arnett returned the nod to Maximus in the middle of sweeping— Arnett was already getting a bit sweaty despite only having been sweeping for a few minutes. That didn't stop him from at least trying to give Maximus a response, at least. It would be rude to not do so.

"H-hey."

However, he wasn't certain about how to proceed from there.

: "O-oh. I'm afraid I don't know very much about exercising in any sort of proper manner. All I've ever really done is farm work and playing with the other kids. Could you give me some pointers?"

"Yeah, it's a pretty nice campus here. There's a lot to see, so try not to get too overwhelmed on your tour with the professor. The good news is, your classes are filled with lots of good people who I'm sure will be more than willing to help you with any questions you have."

He grinned at the two of them, and then gestured towards the direction he had come from.

"I think a good number of your classmates are in the cafeteria right now. Do you want to head there first?"

"Mhm."
Maximus is....equally as unsure how to proceed.
"Oh, sure!"
As Christine sets off in the direction of the central hall, Felix stops to speak to Orrel.
"My father served with yours. It's an honor to meet you."
Suddenly, Katarina is right next to Mordecai, crouching next to him.
"...you need to relax. Don't tense up. If you tense up, you'll hurt yourself."

"Ah, this truly bring back memories" Reeve thought to herself as she listened to the two lovebirds continue to quarrel with each other. She didn't get to see her aunt and uncle often, even before she began setting off on her own, but she enjoyed those times. They were far more relaxing than what she was having to deal with as of late.


"Okay, so 'arguments' may be the wrong phrase, but the point is that you two are apparently not focusing on your duties as heads of the Union. I don't have anything against what you two do in your private time, nor should anyone else, but there are still your other responsibilities that you must take care of before then."

Orrel briefly froze at the mention of his father. No matter how many years it had been, the pain... No. He could do this. He could honor his father while still moving forward.

"I see. You should not be honored, rather I am honored to meet someone who knows his name. I know... I know my father thought highly of all those who served with him, so I am glad to meet the son of one of those men. The Academy will be stronger for your having moved here, I'm sure of it."

Felix senses he might have said something insensitive. He backs off.
"....ah. I'm sorry. That was a little much for having just met each other. It's just....my father was always deeply honored to serve alongside yours and he always told myself and my brother stories of his service, so when I heard the name Sokolov I...."
"....s-shall we move on?"
"I assure you, Reeve, we at the Student Union are taking our responsibilities-"
"P-P-Private time?! What? M-me and the Vice President don't spend our private time doing anything!"
"Now you're just going to make her think something IS going on!"
