Trulgrom and Deffstalka head off to the east, (danger: 5) into a small corner room, peripheral to the main area. It seems safe enough for now. (loot: 6,3 table: 3,5,6,5,6:4,1,1,3,5) The looting in this forgotten corner is fairly good, as Trulgrom finds a desiccated corpse, and Deffstalka loots some scrap from what was probably a servitor or some kind. (Trulgrom: 2 scrap, coil of wire, some old rags, electronics, and a rusty wrench. Deffstalka: 9 scrap, some electronics.)

((@escaped lurker: No, you cannot craft special parts. You don't actually need said parts to make anything, so the only point would be to get a discount +1))

Grimgut settles in to make a enerji blasta, the biggest, baddest, loudest, and explodiest energy weapon he can manage. (crafting: 5+3) The result is everything his orky heart could desire. The question is: When fired at an enemy, will they spatter everywhere in little gibs, or will they turn into a puff of steam? Clearly this question must be tested in the best orky fashion. (+1 7 point heavy powered weapon, -1 hand tools, -22 scrap, -2 mechanical parts).

MugBreaka on the other hand goes for a set of armor. A massive set of armor, powered with the finest in orkish engineering, and layered with thick slabs of metal. (craft: 6+3) The result is well made by ork standards, which is to say it would make any techpriest gibber in a corner, but any ork would be delighted to have it. It will surely prove useful in the hours ahead. Just to make it perfect, a thick coat of green paint is added. (+1 8 point heavy green power armor, -1 humie tool (it's a hand tool), -1 wire, -1 mechanical parts, -1 scrap electronics, -1 green paint, -19 scrap)

Dorktugah (danger: 2 wound: 2-4) heads through the door, and into a small group of muties. Turns out the big ball o 'urt smooshes muties real well. This is fun! Sadly, all good things must come to an end. (loot: 3 table: 2,1,6,2) In amongst all the squished bits, he found some broken gear and other items worth 8 scrap, as well as enough cloth to make a decent pile of rags.

Gorrog stomps down the hall, (danger: 3 wound: 3-4) and straight into another group of muties. This group doesn't last long either, falling to power armored fists in short order. The room they were in contains metal bits worth 10 scrap, and a can of paint in a lovely shade of green.

If the map image isn't showing, it is probably due to a image server issue. I keep getting 502 errors.

Trulgrom would go up north looking for more bits and bobs so he could make a little something, at this point, he knew he wouldn't be able to make his kill krusha but he could at least make himself nice dead 'ard suppa 'evey armour with a lot of gizmoes and stuff on it. But, for now he had to keep getting more scrap for his grand design.

Cackling in an unconcerting manner, Grimgut craddles his new work, before loosening a few practice shots towards the surrounding area. The result, is some splintered and melted metal, and inconclusive in regards to the true capacity of the weapon if aimed at an organic target. Only one way to find out!
"Now dem' nasties will git some!"
With hastened steps, the ork makes for the north-eastern door, ready to take revenge on whatever threat might reveal itself there.

Grimgut, #13, goes NE

Spoiler: Grimgut, #13 (click to show/hide)
So, no loophole for me to exploit? Shame~ ;3
On an unrelated matter, what were those two mechanical parts used on? If I made a miscalculation on my heavy weapon crafting, I'll gladly accept that.
Going by my understanding though, might they have been used for my wound-healing? Because I'd have slotted the leather and cloth for that job.
(The resources used would be worth the same - that's not my point. Just confused if I only have scrap left, or not)

Ah, I see. I erronously calculated the "powered" part for half the price or so. Thanks for clearing that up.

((Powered heavy weapon is worth 6 points base, x4 == 24. 24/8 = 3 scrap per +1 craft roll bonus, since you wanted a +3, and you had 1 unit of hand tools, total cost is 30 scrap. 2 Mechanical parts + 22 scrap is sufficient.

I totally forgot to factor in your healing. The rags + vermin skin cover that quite nicely.))

Pleased with his finds, Gorrog got in touch with his artistic side, and began painting green lightning bolts on his heavy armor. He also used some of the gathered scrap to fashion bandages for himself. Mostly by bolting a steel plate over the injury.

Actions: Paint 'eavy armor green. use 8 scrap to heal 2 points of wound.

Trulgrom and Deffstalka start heading north, but they don't get far before MugBreaka catches up with them. (danger: 4 skill: 2) As they open the door to the next room they are jumped by a band of muties. The leader catches Trulgrom by surprise and rips into his arm with a short sword (-6 point wound. Note the point value in your sheet please, you already have a -3 point wound), Deffstalka manages to get a good position, and rips into the group with his choppa. He downs Trulgrom's attacker, as well as one other, but he receives a few gashes in return (-4 point wound). The hero of the hour is MugBreaka, who wades in with his power armor. The muties squish in a most gratifying way, and power armor fists make short work of skulls. In the end, he downs four of the attackers, with his only damage being a loose armor plate (-3 point wound). (loot: 6,3,6 table: 3,4,4,2,4:5,2,6,3,3:5,4,1,6,5 skill: 6) Stripping the dead muties turns up quite a haul, maybe Trulgrom and Deffstalka will spend some of it on armor or weapons? (Trulgrom: 12 scrap, mechanical parts, Deffstalka: 8 scrap, wire, a wad of cloth in not too bad shape, MugBreaka: 11 scrap, wire, a set of screwdrivers, some electronics)

Dorktugah sets to looting the room properly. (loot: 5 table: 3,4,5) He finds a bit here and there, but the best of the lot turns up when his squig rips at one of the bodies and exposes some kind of implants. Good boy! (2 scrap, mechanical parts, electronic parts)

Grimgut heads back to the previous room, then heads north east ((there are two doors north east of where you are, I'll give you the north-most one.)). (danger: 3) Woo! Puff of steam it is! That tyranid didn't stand a chance! The genestealer in question was climbing down a hole in the ceiling, it looks like he could make it up there if he tried... ((New area revealed!)) (loot: 1 table: 3) Grimgut spends so much time examining his kill (well, where his kill was) and trying to see what is in the room above, that he almost forgot to loot the place. In the end he only turns up 2 scrap.

Gorrog makes a nice shiny plate for his scratches (-3 scrap, wounds healed), then spends the remainder of his time slathering green lighting bolts on his armor. Now everyone will see and know the power of Thunda Steelface! (-1 paint, power armor is now worth 8 points) ((Healing only costs x1 scrap))

Thinking he needed a little more before he could make his grand plan, Trulgrom starts tearing up the room for bits and bobs, cursing under his breath over his wounds. Just a few more bits and bobs and the armour he really wanted would be built by his hands, or well, his hands holding his tools. Either way, he would show the runts what real orky armour looks like.

(Powered Medium Weapon. (Mechanical parts + Hand Tools + 2 x Wire Coils + 10 Scrap, +5 Scrap spent for a +2 modifier to crafting roll) +3 to Crafting roll)
