Escalation:
While it may seem a good idea on the surface to immediately deploy Rulers, Consorts, Lifestealer, All seven Hounds and Knights, it is in fact not always preferable. These Cards represent Beings with extreme amounts of power. Deploying them means going all out. it is the nuclear option. When you use such extreme measures the world around you will suffer in the extreme. Hundreds and Thousands will die, cities will be destroyed, things will be irrevocably changed.

A big concept of the Escalation is the Theorem that "Power draws Power" if you start deploying Gods and Ascendants you will draw more of them. Unbound Cards formerly running around aimlessly will inexorably converge towards Conflicts and engage in them, Cards like Obelisk, Coin, Throne and Master of the Deck will deploy themselves without the players doing and other effects will happen. While all of them are random your sudden deployment of a Coterie of Ruler, Consort, Knight, Hounds and Lifestealer may suddenly find that all other Houses have been inexorably drawn into the conflict even against their will and that you may suddenly face a stiff opposition.

aye deploying the Knight will allow Acter to interfere starting next turn...not yet since the knight is not yet there.

On another note i said this before but i found two things going on which are simply not good for RP:

A) Disembodied Voices all over the place

B) Omniscient Gods again.

I said both things are a no-no before. Should this continue i will start imposing penalties.

You are Divine beings but not in the Abrahamic omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient way but rather in the greek or norse sense of the word. So please, avoid being disembodied voices who know of everything and see everything.
Place your god somewhere at a location and have him actually move about.

Ah. Sorry.

I just kinda imagine that there's this small area just to the side of reality proper where we can talk to each other. Sorry if that's not ok.

EDIT: Does it make sense for us to have implicit knowledge of the status of our creations, though? Like, Acter would always have a general idea of how the Acterians are.

Well, I imagine that currently most gods are observing the First from above, and having a chat up there. I did mention that Phalanalin had emerged from the Darkness to observe the First directly a while back, since the gambit-laws protect her from Lu's wrath. And Lu directed a complaint at her, so he must be nearby. And Acter is talking with him, so he must also be in the vicinity.
Unless people decide they are somewhere else.

For now, I hope it's alright to inject at least one more comment into the conversation.

I generally envisage myself sending remote messages to the other gods while reading about things that are happening from the book of truth. If that's not ok then I'll not do that anymore. Or should I make some kind of messenger thing to carry those messages?

I'm going to wait for a verdict from Ghaz before I respond to you IC, Nuke, but while I agree on the topic of Armiles, I vehemently disagree on the topic of Kol; as I'd stated previously, Kol, while flawed, is someone who can be worked with.

Speaking of my previous attempts to work with Kol: Ghaz, did my attempt to communicate with Kol consume an Act, or not? I'd like to know.

Alright, thanks.

Verdict on the "discussion place a bit outside physical reality"?

Is this referring to my post? I thought I would be able to hear other gods speaking. Ack, I'll edit it out.

This could be solved by setting up a little Olympus of sorts. Like, a nice little asteroid around Luar or something.

This is all quite interesting gameplay going on right now. I hadn't seriously considered trying to open a gambit to save Kol ( because if I win the acterian worship, then he is released). Depending on exactly how the imprisonment gambit mechanics work, I may alter my course of action.

I am in favor of an Olympus, that's a good idea. Probably why they made it in the first place....

It seems more complicated than it is. Really it just requires a bit of Q&A before you understand about where the boundaries are. At least, that has been my experience.
