Turn 1: Enter the Mountain
Five heroes have assembled at the base of Fireblood Mountain, at a gaping obsidian hole piercing the side of the humongous volcano. A faint molten glow barely illuminates a wooden sign reading "Abandon all hope ye who enter here." Nobody has entered the cursed mountain for as long as anyone can remember, but these five are just brave - or insane - enough to attempt to conquer that which no man dares even enter.
There is
Ardelion Dallan, full-time camelliaphile and part-time mage, who having devoted his entire life to the study of tea and believes that the mountain contains Uveali, a special herb which, if rumors are true, produces a tea so fantastic, so overwhelmingly delicious even a single taste could bring the strongest man to tears.
Next to him stands
Gary, who is truly an odd character for a medic, being a narcissist and all. Generally, one would expect a doctor to be almost entirely devoted to the well-being of others, but not Gary. Nosiree.
The third member is
Ae-Hale Chasme, another mage. However, this mage seeks the a wealth in Fireblood not of material wealth, but of magical knowledge. He suspects that some of the more sapient denizens of the volcano might be willing to share their knowledge with him.
Immediately following is
Jacob Frost, a traveling adventurer and bard who roams the land seeking adventure and glory! Also money. Money would be nice too.
Rounding out the party is
Jerila Nakiash, an archer thief who needs the money she hopes to gain from this mad excursion to keep her family afloat. Why isn't she instead just trying to ambush and rob some rich merchant? Stop asking stupid questions, it's for the ADVENTURE of course!
