Okay, so maybe that's not very average, but he's totally Japanese. Other than his blonde hair and blue eyes, he looks, well... Surprisingly average. He's got a face that would be rather difficult to pick out from a crowd, and describing clothes here is a complete waste of time.
Hiroaki has also always been strangely obsessed with the sun. He has spent many sunny days simply lying down somewhere or other and basking in the sun's warmth and light, and he makes a point to observe the sun, indirectly or otherwise, whenever the sun comes out, regardless of whatever else may be happening. It is not a rare occurrence for him to start spouting poetic bullshit about its greatness, either.
He's also a pretty nice guy, always willing to lend a hand, but he just doesn't get people to any real extent. He's just a little bit too willing to resort to violence, despite his niceness.

Vermilion Sun's armor is incredibly thin and light, and it shows on the appearance, too, with naught but very slight bumps here and there indicating there's any armor to begin with. A large, orange-and-yellow sun is emblazoned on their chest, and orange highlights are common all over the body, particularly around the armored parts. Holes are also very common all over Vermillion Sun's body, particularly in his palms, soles, knees and elbows.

Million Suns: Vermilion Sun's whole body is covered in openings that shoot, well, lasers. All the lasers. All of them. Sometimes at once. These lasers are generally quite explosive and pierce defenses rather well, but mirrors and such can reflect them.
-Upgrade: The openings can also be used to gain a short-term speed boost now.
Remote Detonation: Allows Vermilion Sun to detonate his lasers regardless of whether they've hit anything or not.
Moves
Sunstorm: Vermilion Sun releases a barrage of lasers from all of the openings in his body at once, drowning the world in bright yellow light and explosions. Near impossible to dodge due to the wide area it covers and hitting multiple enemies numerous times as the lasers stream out. Explosions don't actually harm Vermilion Sun. Requires a full Special Gauge to use/Has a massive cooldown (4-5 turns?).
Sunstorm needs to be nerfed for now, as it's far too powerful for a level 1 Burst Linker without more drawbacks than cooldowns. Perhaps a slightly smaller explosion and slightly less damage. Otherwise, good to go.

Description: Kazane is...An average (ethnically Japanese) girl, plus far, far, far too many scars that are always, always covered by a loose-fitting shirt and pants.
Other: What other there is, is to be revealed IC. Suffice it to say that she was kidnapped and treated brutally for several years in her youth, and when she got out and ran away, she kept running. (That is to say, I'm not going make the specific placement of scars now, but this is the backstory I've come up with in total.)

Description: A girl with fairly light skin and a rather small frame, even for her age, standing at about 4'4" or 132 cm. She has the unusual combination of somewhat large violet eyes and fine, hip-length silver hair. She's about as well-muscled as you'd expect the average thirteen year old teenage girl to be. Overall, her face lends itself to an impression of looking rather refined and aristocratic. She generally wears a dark-colored or black skirt with a similarly dark, long-sleeved top, both with violet accents to complement her eyes. She will occasionally pair this with leggings, and if she's feeling particularly adventurous (which is rare) she'll get a shorter skirt to achieve grade B zettai ryouiki.
Contrary to her elegant appearance, Hiroki is rather jittery and easy to upset, and doesn't appear to handle stress particularly well. However, she's also stubborn (though easily frustrated, this will rarely cause her to actually give up on something) in the extreme, doubly so if it involves winning an argument or otherwise proving herself correct. She's also in possession of a rather fragile ego. Despite this, or perhaps because of this, she's determined to prove that she's at least equal to everyone else, if not better.

Description: Hiroki's Avatar is quite bulky, making her appear larger than she really is upon initially sighting her. Its most striking features are the large cannon mounted at about the elbow of the right arm, and the "wings" that are actually an array of thrusters and guns. The cannon is orange and has a hexagonal shape, extending almost down to the feet in a neutral position, with the distinctive yellow and black "caution" pattern in a stripe at the end of it. There's a squarish panel on the back underneath which many of the important systems are housed, though this is of course covered by the heaviest armor. The plating overall is a dark gray, with faulds protecting the waist area. The chest and legs are divided into four plates each. The outer and inner edges of each plate on the chest have blue stripes along them, and similar stripes are found along each joint of the mech. An orange glow can be seen leaking from underneath the plating. The mech also features a somewhat angular helmet covering her whole face, the visor leaving just her eyes and nose visible. The visor darkens in response to intense light. Finally, it also has two shoulder-mounted cannons that can be set to automatic fire or slaved to the main gun.

-Main Cannon: A hefty hexagonal cannon mounted just below the elbow of her right arm. Sturdy enough to be used for bludgeoning but mostly used for shooting powerful beams. SYN-based when using it for its actual purpose, STR otherwise.
-Shoulder Cannons: Fairly similar to the main cannon, but smaller. More SYN-based damage, and often used in conjunction with the main cannon.
-Auxiliary Guns: Mostly used for defense. They will automatically attempt to shoot down incoming attacks if possible, once again based on SYN. This is most effective on missile and missile-like attacks, and decreases in effectiveness against laser-type strikes.
Abilities:
-Hover: This Avatar actually hovers slightly above the ground in combat. Doesn't actually improve acceleration (probably hurts it, actually), but makes it possible to largely ignore rough terrain and grants small bonuses to melee combat.

Description:
Ken is a tall and slender young man with an athletic figure, characterized by his expression-less face, as if he was always in another world. He has short black hairs and gray eyes.
He typically wears a blue shirt and simple black pants.
Personality wise, he is really quiet. He is also pretty altruistic, and almost act like a big brother when he tries to help people. When it comes to duels, he is merciless. He doesn't fight for honor, but won't resort to underhanded tactics.
Backstory :
Ken is the older brother of two little brothers and one little sister. He was always a calm child, silently playing the "protective big brother" role for his siblings.
With time, it was revealed Ken had a natural talent for kendo and iaido. He was also a really good student, and as such, he strived to become an ideal model for his brothers and sisters.
It also became apparent he had difficulties making friends. And slowly, he began to alienate himself from the others. Too talented in his beloved discipline compared to other child of his age, he felt further separated from the usual cast of people.
He was by no mean a special exception, but he felt it that way. He felt isolated, unable to be understood and to understand others. Something inside him was broken, but he didn't know what.
That is when he began to suffer from [animu personality disorder], a rare condition where his mind split into two distinct personalities. The truth may be that he unwillingly created an other self to have someone with whom to share his experiences, joys and sorrows.
Nowadays, he does have some friends. But the damage he suffered during his childhood lasted, and he is still deeply troubled by his feeling of alienation.

Description:
The Ebon Shadows Avatar is a slender armored frame, reminiscent of some fantastic knight's armor.
The design in itself is pretty simple. The armor cover the whole body, leaving no visible opening.
The plated faulds are particularly long and slightly flexible for mobility. They nearly reach the knees.
The helmet is as simple as the rest, not having any special decoration. Two sharp glowing point can be seen through the visor. One is yellow while the other is blue.
When using Shadows Split, the two Avatars main difference is their eyes color. One is fully blue while the other is fully yellow.

Description: Being half Peruvian and half Japanese, Ruy is visibly a mix between South American and East Asian. He stands at 5'5", with skin a shade browner than the average Japanese person. He has a rather thin build. He has soft black hair that is somewhat longish, and quite dark brown eyes, if a very little bit lighter than the average in Japan. He tends to wear rather bright colors.
Ruy is the son of a Peruvian with one-quarter Japanese ancestry who moved over to the land of that part of his ancestry, met a Japanese woman, and married. But Ruy's parents are rarely ever present, usually busy with various career options, having both gone to Peri and left Ruy there alone for school. So Ruy turned to legend and fantasy to shore up that hole, greedily devouring all the old legends and stories he could get his hands on, reading about the legendary people of old. Now, Ruy is most of the way lost in his books, reading in all of his free time at school and out, finding losing himself in these old worlds of glory much more palatable than simply living in this much less glorious and much more lonely world.

Description: Azul Crusader is a humanoid form wearing what is very close to medieval armor, an effect made a little odd by the more sci-fi parts of its ensemble common to all Brain Burst avatars. A vivid, deep blue cuirass sits over a more grey-blue chainmail-like armor that goes up to his wrists, down his torso to his ankles, where it terminates in a pair of flaired holes that his feet come out of. His hands simply have a deep blue covering on them, much like gloves, and his feet have a similar deep blue covering, wrapped across his feet with a sole at the bottom. On his head, a grey-blue medieval-looking helm rises across the back of his head and terminates above his forehead -- his face is similar to other Brain Burst avatars, noseless and mouthless, deep blue with a pair of shining turquoise eyes.

Armaments: Tizona (Upgraded Once): A slightly thinner broadsword, not quite as long or broad as a normal broadsword but significantly lighter. Extremely difficult to parry or avoid for Yellow avatars, Earth avatars, or Metal avatars with lowered Agility.
(Upgrade One): It is similarly highly difficult to dodge for Green or Lightning avatars, or Metal avatars with lowered Dexterity, as Azul Crusader will outmaneuver them.
Colada (Upgraded Once): A blade somewhat thinner and slightly shorter than Tizona's with a rapier hilt, Colada is Azul Crusader's off-hand sword. It isn't terribly offensively powerful for a sword (yet not incredibly weak), but the off-hand sword makes parrying melee enemy blows with short-to-moderate length melee weapons like swords, axes, or maces easier for him. Dex-based.
(Upgrade One): Azul Crusader also now gets a bonus to parrying arrows and thrown weapons with Colada, though it still provides no defense against guns whatsoever.

Moves: Dual Strike: Azul Crusader thrusts out with both of his swords at once if he has an opening, piercing through armor with a double attack, at the expense of being easier to parry or avoid.

Description: Baobab Bulwarks seems to be a massive, nearly robotic-looking despite it being made out of wood, humanoid, with large spiked pauldrons and large hands and feet made out of thick bark. Its head looks even more mechanical, with a green visor for eyes, a large, square jaw, and rigid horn-like protrusions coming off its cranium. Its body is thinly outlined in glowing white, which altogether make it seem like a lithe stick figure is somehow inside of it. The line ends at the head, however, there being instead glowing halos encircling the horns.

Armaments: Fusion Shields - A pair of spiked shields that can fuse together to create a sort of mold-able energy disk. May be used to smash something, but their main functions are defense.
Abilities: Unyielding - Baobab Bulwark refuses. If Baobab Bulwark is attacked with an attack that should pierce through defense, its total damage is halved.
Moves: Tree of Barbs - Baobab Bulwark fuses his shields together, forming the resulting energy into a wall of spikes. For a while, half of all damage taken is re-dealt to the original dealer, and the remaining damage is reduced by 33%.
Nature's Challenge - Magical roots force an enemy/enemies to attack Baobab Bulwark instead of their intended target/targets. Target has to attack Baobab Bulwark whenever they are able, for a turn. May be used on a total of three enemies at once.
-Reduce Unyielding's block to 1/4th. Otherwise, good to go.

This set of glasses allows for an in-depth analysis of an enemies strengths and weaknesses, far beyond simple stat-pages, to the point where one can accurately estimate the enemies next actions. Once an enemies offenses, or defences have been analysed through that, the effect of their attacks, or their defence, is cut in half against Porcelain Princess.
Abilities:
High-Torque Cyclonic Barrier.
Porcelain Princess constantly emits a magnetic field around her, that through rapid oscilation redirects incoming attacks, in contrast to traditional armor that tries to protect from an attack by taking the force straight on. Regardless of the stats involved, Attacks against Porcelain princess always have a 25% chance to miss. Once an enemies offences have been analysed, that becomes 50%.
Weakness abuse.
Once an enemies defences have been analysed Porcelain Princess knows exactly where and how to hurt the enemy in a meaningful way. Her attacks now deal damage based on Synergy rather than strength, and hace a 25% chance to crit for 150% damage.
Moves:
Cyclonic disruption: When in extreme proximity to Porcelain Princess, the cylconic magnetic field can be purposefully used to hinder the enemies movement, making it extremely difficult to defend against incoming attacks.
-Eyes of the Oracle and High-Torque Cyclonic Barrier are quite strong for Level 1. Please nerf the damage reduction to 20% or so as they stack.
-No unconditional 'miss' this early. Either give a chance to land or allow energy and laser-based weaponry to land.
-Again, try to not use so many numbers for this.

Yuzuki is, as one might say,

Possibly the worst of the bunch, though, is her propensity to believe that she's doing everything wrong. Even the slightest correction, comment, or criticism sets off a slew of apologizing the likes of which nobody has ever seen before on this Earth.

Reseda Gauntlet: A removeable gauntlet worn on Reseda Advance's left hand, the same color as its visor. Allows for punches that don't do as much damage as a Blue Avatar's, but can destroy shields or protective effects. STR damage.

Inexorable Strength: Reseda Gauntlet simply cannot be stopped. Halves all debuff times or, if they only last for one turn, halves their effects.
Moves:
Herbal Remedy: The power of Reseda comes in many forms. A unique ability that heals a flat 50% of all the health Reseda Advance has lost. Cooldown of 3 turns.
Unflinching Stride: A completely unstoppable movement towards the enemy, followed by a devastating punch. Ignores any debuffs or negative effects for one turn and then attacks the enemy with the Reseda Guantlet on the next, but Reseda Advance is unable to dodge any attacks that turn.
