An i'm sorta bias towards my regiment also..
Although my Egyptian regiment is what i'm in love with I'd like to say that my second favorite are the Cossack Coffinmakers. The idea that we are noble employed assasins who work as a guirilla unit is pretty inspiring and leaves us with good RP potential. Also if you guys are having problems picking a regiment you like the best because it's your own then pick your second favorite
EDIT: Fixed my Regiments fluff. Please read and I promise this is my final attempt.
Regiment name: The Dedas Golden 1st Eagles Regiment
Motto: "Aim High"
Homeworld: Dedas (Schola Progenium world)
Commanding office: (Choleric) : Commander Omar Zaath. Omar is a dinosaur at his mid-thirties when compared to his quickly shrinking unit. Originally a line infantry private he has risen to the rank of Colonel (The original commander was found lacking in his faith.). His first decisions as Regimental commander are said to be conservative yet bold in order to live up to the mission granted upon the unit by the God Emperor and their assigned protector Dietities. Omar as of late has contemplated possible mergings with other units but his senoir staff has ruled this out due to their Scholo Progenium origins as well as the units high need of self-respect and honor.
Despite his moments of weakness, no one has ever questioned his appointment to Regimental commander after the wars against traitors and Orks. His personal motto is "If ever hit, hit back harder and never let them see you hurt.".

History: The regiment was created to combat the rebellious planet strongholds via drop in attacks without the need for an Adeptus Astartes chapter being nearby. The Regiment has a small but rich history of capturing forts and also disrupting enemy units behind the front lines through sabotage. The regiment has only had experiences in fighting in two warzones but have already created semi large legends of daring drop attacks, captures, and defenses in multiple locations. These succesess have however caused many deaths from everything including but not limited to death on the field, suacides in pressure, executions by commisars, and honor bound duels with follow guardsment. The last does not ever initialize as a 'too the death' type of duel but accidents do happen. The Regiemnt has lost countless officers, specialist, veterans, and even the support of some of the Drill Abbots of Dedas who believe the regiment will not survive this conflict. The new Commander Omar has vowed to transform the Eagle Regiment and proclaim that they will survive this war no matter the cost. "It is our mission to get more experience before the final battle with our God-Emperor at the helm. Dying too soon will make us weak for that day.".
Regimental beliefs: The Emperor long ago claimed Dedas for the Empire an it was later turned into a schola Progenium world. That is, installed a regime that created the best soldiers from the Orphanages run to care for the children of Imperial Guard officers and such. Drill Abbots of course create the belief that the God-Emperor must be revered at all times and honored at any cost even personal costs. As such a strict code known as the "Eternal Trial" is conditioned where all challenges in life must be accepted and never dodged. Doing so, is considered weakness and weakness is not tolerated in the eyes of the God-Emperor. It should be noted that the Dietites worshiped akin to 'Saints' are known as Sekmeth who is revered as the eldest dauther of war, Bast the quick footed sister of war, Pakmeth honorary diety of war who was sent back from the celestial plane to help give the final messege to the world of Dedas, and Menhit Goddes of destruction who is known to come when the Dedas regiment has thoroughly destroyed an enemy to 'cleanse' them of spiritual life'.
While all four Goddesses are equally powerful and revered Sekmeth is the clear leader as she is oldest and was said to be a General in the armies of the Emperor during the first conquests of man. Bast is a quick footed scout who visits soldiers in their dreams to warn them of incoming danger in life. Pakmeth is the only known diety to have come back from the Celestial plane where the Emperor lives and waits for his children to join him for the final battle. She is said to challenge all of Dedas's warriors to strenghten them for the final battle as well as battles in their current plane of existence. Finally there is Menhit who after every battle eats the souls of the dead who are full of darkness. Supposedly when doing this it prevents the evil within them to plague others from things such as: deviating from the true path or desertion. All four Goddeses are also known as "The messengers who protect and Guide for the God-Emperor".
As can be seen Honor and Standing your ground are common themes in the core belief system of the Golden Eagles. It should be noted however that all Eagles see as life as an eternal struggle and will always come back to complete what they have failed. That is, if they fail to beat a challenger in a duel and are alive they will challenge them in another day. Similarly, some are known to avoid challenges for oppertune moments when they feel they are ready for the challenge although this is looked down upon within the regiment.
