I'm posting the stats of the Solo Boltgun so that people don't have to look for it:

Code: [Select]
Name                Class     Range    RoF     Dam           Pen    Clip    Special      Wt    Availability
Solo Boltgun        Basic    100m     S/-/-   1d10+5 X        4       8     Accurate,   7 kg    Very Rare
                                                                             Tearing,
                                                                             Reliable

The trait looks good.

EDIT: I think I'm going to have this Friday be the end date to post the regiments, and after that you'll vote and make your characters.

Can I also include Bolt weaponry to receive the +5 bonus (non-stackable in the case of Bolt favored weapons or Bolt ammunition)? The intention is that since the Skitarii get the best toys (good plasma weaponry, grav-guns, at least one volkite weapon with a different name), the levies are being supplied with specialist weapons considered "simple" to manufacture and also adequately powerful. Basically, they get a smaller amount of plasma, melta and power weaponry than their augmented cousins but they're still being issued loads of bolt weapons and ammo to go with them.

The only reason I didn't add the Scourge Boltgun from RT: Faith & Coin to the standard kit is because I think the Scarce availability might be a mistake and many guardsmen wouldn't start with Weapon Training (Bolt) unless they bought it.

I think it is fair enough. Also, yes, I also think the Scarce on the Scourge Boltgun is probably a mistake.

By the way, you can start discussing which regiments you like the most from the ones currently submitted and all of that.

I think Defenders of the Omnissiah would suck for most people since they might not get much mileage out of the Tech aptitude, so I replaced it for Bonded to the Machine Cult since it also fits quite well if not better. I might return to the first one, though... Well, the fluff's now done and that's the most important part in any case. I'll care about the details later.

We... need to actually pick a regiment before you make a character, because your character needs to fit the regiment.

It's a hard choice, but I have to say I like the regiments I submitted the most. Yes, it's a shock. To be honest I don't know whether I prefer the Levymen or the Savlar Dogs, though I'm leaning towards the former since it has a lot of RP potential; members of Guard regiments who go "sweet Machine Jesus this weapon is much better than a crossbow" are a bit rare.

@Khaiel: How will you deal with characteristics? Roll in order, roll and assign as wanted or point-buy? How about Wounds?

For characteristics, I'll roll for each one of you, and you will be able to assign the rolls the way you want. I'll also be the one rolling for your wounds and Fate Points.

An i'm sorta bias towards my regiment also..

((Which I'm updating because the story is a bit tangled up.))

Although my Egyptian regiment is what i'm in love with I'd like to say that my second favorite are the Cossack Coffinmakers. The idea that we are noble employed assasins who work as a guirilla unit is pretty inspiring and leaves us with good RP potential. Also if you guys are having problems picking a regiment you like the best because it's your own then pick your second favorite :D

EDIT: Fixed my Regiments fluff. Please read and I promise this is my final attempt.

I think the idea of each of you picking your second favorite would be the best, since your favorite is most likely going to be your own. And if there is no clear winning regiment, I guess I'll have to decide between the most voted ones the one who I think would be the most appropiate.

EDIT: I've been reminded that this 4 are probably the only regiments that will be. So please, start your votes. And bold them, so they are easier to see, please.
