You want me to re roll you the 2 Fate points? Because that's the only 2 I see on your rolls. Don't you mean the 4?

Also yes, before I forget (as this is important for those new to the system) you can choose to reroll a single characteristics roll, but if the reroll is worse you still have to stick with it.

And I prefer Skype over IRC because I like actually talking when RPing (And also because my typing would be too slow for descriptions).

Yeah, I meant the 4. I'm not sure how 4 turned into 2 as I typed, though maybe it's because I was thinking "The only way it could get worse is if I roll 2. Watch it happen."

Rerolled that 4 for a 12. Not bad.

Added some information about the regiments that you will fight alongside with. The information is incomplete. Imperial High Command is that competent.

I'll spend the rest of the equipment points when I get to work.

I've never played a tech-priest, so I might play as the tech-intern.

Edit: I was considering asking to use the Skitarii Vanaheim-pattern Assault Shotgun from the Inquisitor's handbook (fits the regiment's connection with the Mechanicum, comes with a red-dot sight and a bayonet), but then I remembered we have a Las sidearm and it'd be better if our main weapon was also the same type.

Additional points spent and we'll be quite shooty. If anyone wants to be stabby, remember that Bonded to the Machine Cult gives a +10 bonus to LR when requisitioning power weapons and that our +5 bonus to requisitioning upgrades applies to Mono, melee attachments and chain bayonets.

I can also do skype just fine and if we do anything else I ask that it be easy to install. I tried getting with some other forumites for a project that I coudn't be apart of due to many instant chat websites failing and them not wanting to use skype or teamspeak.

Also I'm going to claim a storm trooper which gives me a good quality hotshot lasgun + Full body armor. If anyone cares the fluff is about a woman who was going to be the spymaster/chief of police of a duke but decided to join the war effort instead.

Can my wounds be re-rolled if not then re-roll the 8 I have. Hopefully I can get a 10 out of it.

Could we possibly get a Manual of the minitorium? It helps when logistics and if used right could net us an extra grenade or something. Also how much of a difference would a medic make in the squad? We seem to have no wound recovery and i'm sure we'll all be getting hit with las guns/solid shots/everything the grim dark universe has in store for us.

You can't reroll wounds. The reroll gives you a 14, so it is quite better.

Also if Caellath is going to be a tech priest, then, either Lucus or spazyak would have to take the role of the sergeant.

@3man75: You might still benefit from sticking to the standard kit's best-craftsmanship light carapace; part of the reason I made it Best is because the reduction from 15 kg to 7.5 kg makes it better for the weedier characters. And a Munitorum Manual doesn't actually provide any mechanical benefits and we'll have to do with the instructional primer assigned to us.

First Aid is limited, but Medics can save lives. If I play tech-intern - which I intend to do - I'll take up Medic duty. Edit: if we end up with too many Support Specialists, I can ditch being a tech-intern. One SS is probably a good enough number... But then again, in this game the stormtrooper is only a more experienced soldier do I don't think I need to be hasty about squad imbalance.

Does the Sergeant have to be an experienced player or am I over-thinking things?

I'm going to stay with my storm trooper sorry. I'll be Pming my character to Khaiel soon. Still studying at school.

The feudal regiment was chosen. Also, I think I commented it to 3man75 but I forgot to make it public: I usually rule that the Munitorum Manual provides a bonus on Logistic Tests (from +5 to +10, depending on the type of item requested) because some of what it says about asking for equipment is actually somewhat useful. However this bonus is only to things that the regiment would expected to have. For example, it would apply to getting extra charge packs, ammo or grenades, or the regiment's favoured weapons, but not to get special equipment that the regiment doesn't usually get (like grav-chutes).

I'll provide the traits' description in abbr tags so people don't have to hunt for them, then quote the post.

I almost forgot about the auxiliary grenade launcher upgrade. It'll go attached to the long-las by standard, though since they're separated in the kit I don't think it'd be a problem to attach it to a different Basic weapon you might start with.

Also, I think that I'd prefer an experienced player taking over the role of sergeant, but whatever suits the group.

Let people pick freely for now; if no one takes the Sergeant specialty, then I can ditch the tech-intern concept and go with it. I think one of the things that make people shy away from Sarge (aside from the burden of command) is the specialty's spastic Aptitudes: you don't get Offense to raise WS and Strength quickly and take the group's duelist role, and to be honest that's not the worst part since they don't get at least Social to raise Fellowship quickly, being limited to raising Command and waiting to swap out to Commander which also has some strange Aptitudes. They get easy access to Toughness raises and that's about it.
